Is Cody too similar to Hendricks?

IMO - firm no.

Don't think you can have "too many" dudes that are 6'8 - 6'9 with good length and versatile skillsets.

Hendricks has also not established himself as a cornerstone, rotational piece, either. So I don't think there's any way to identify either as redundant to the other.

Neither Hendricks or Williams are good enough to plan around them in the starting lineup, but if they reach their potential (along with Keyonte), then a Keyonte, Williams, Hendricks, Lauri, Kessler lineup could be a thing.

I think Collier needs to be in the lineup somehow

His ability to draw the defense and dish is gonna benefit the team too much to leave him off.

Hendricks has no Y's at all and a superfluous C for some reason. It would be infinitely cooler if it were spelled with an X. Plus it has like a bunch of syllables, I'm thinking, 3?

Well they both need to learn to create off the dribble and score ala Tatum, Brown,..

I’m just worried neither of them can develop that part of their games to the point where we can compete against the likes of the West’s elites.

Take a look in the clip, they’re developing skills. If he was elite at them he’d have gone in the top 3 in the draft.

Yes developing but he handles with both hands equally well and his biggest issue is strength and weight which I’m sure will be addressed. We don’t need Hendricks to do that.

I voted Cody Williams because I believe the kid has a higher ceiling than anybody the Jazz have drafted in quite awhile IMO.

Honestly, if the dude had 15 more lbs on him, the Jazz wouldn’t have gotten a whiff of him at #10 and that’s the point. There’s a foundation already in place with this kid and it’s now the Jazz’s job to help him reach that ceiling.

Yep if his shot creation is a bit better I think he’s easily top 3.

We just have to train him up now and hope he has the fire to keep improving that aspect of his game.

Hendricks and Cody are two COMPLETELY different player types. No one is ahead of anyone, as they wont compete for the same role in the final roster if they reach their ceilings.

One is an off ball role player whose main calling card should be his defense, while the other one is a secondary ballhandler / on ball creator.
