What's new

Is it really that far fetched to see D will in Jazz uni again?

Not hot at all. I prefer to take the moral high road and let my BBIQ do the talking, not resort to bush league tactics such as urself my friend.
Ya know how Devin brushed off Cousins, right after pwning him on the court? Ya, like that.

Learn how to take a little ribbing, bro.

That's what she said

"Conor Orr: D-Will, asked if he's upset Pacers say they're embarrassed to lose to a subpar team like the Nets: "We are a subpar team. So, not really." Twitter"

Lol

Explain this. I dont think you can.

If DWill does come back to Utah there would be a big media uproar. No question. There will be plenty of speculations about - did KOC plan this all along? Did KOC and DWill have a "wink wink" agreement on getting DWill back by shafting the Nets for Favors, Kanter and Harris?

Then who in their right mind would trade with KOC ever again?

I bet the NBA would suddenly care about the way players are running the front office these days. It's okay when it's a move that benefits the NBA (Melo to NY, The Big Three in Miami, etc), but if Deron spurns the Nets, Mavs, and Lakers to sign with Utah, it'll be a huge scandal.

It's a signing that would make sense for both parties on the basketball floor, but I really don't see it happening. Regardless of what D-Will may have been thinking about his future, ultimately it was the team that spurned him and unceremoniously dumped him on one of the worst teams in the league. Don't get me wrong. It was absolutely the right move in my opinion. But that's got to sting for one of the best players in the league.

There wouldn't be a big scandal. The news of it would last two days then pass. No one wants to talk about Utah

And it's not like we make a whole lot of trades anyways. Teams would trade with us still as long as we had what they wanted..

KOC's a man with integrity. It'll almost be like it's against KOC's religion to do such a thing.

Cmon, really?

that's not even funny.

that's why you only have 0 rep.

I don't know what's worse, his 34 post count and zero reps or your 1184 post count and 1 rep. My math-sense is tingling and tells me that were there really an accurate measurement on reps that you would be so far negative that the system would auto ban you...

Oh yeah? The biggest sports story to come out of this state in the past 12 months was the very public Malone/Greg Miller spat. Which wasn't really about sports at all. But it was public and it was drama.

The national media - especially ESPN - loves drama. KOC and Deron seemingly pulling the wool over everyone's eyes and essentially stealing Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter from the Nets... that's drama at it's finest. It would be all over every broadcast. First and 10, PTI, Around the Horn, Jim Rome, etc etc. It would be the lead story. It would be the biggest story of the 2012 offseason.

I'm the first one to say the national media doesn't care about Utah. But this wouldn't just be about Utah. We all assume that Deron is going to wind up in Dallas or L.A., but that doesn't mean those are the only teams people are going to talk about. Every single team in need of a point guard are going to be chasing him in some way. Think about that, and realize just how many people would suddenly notice Utah if they pulled of a coup like that. It's not just about Utah signing him here, it's about all the other teams that don't sign him. Signing in Utah, he spurns the Nets, Lakers, Mavs, Magic, Knicks, and any other team that shows interest.

The national media would care. The major market media would care. The NBA would certainly care, hell they'd likely launch an investigation even though they wouldn't have a damn leg to stand on.

What a load of bullsh*t. Not your assesment of the situation, but the situation itself, if it might present itself. As far as I know, nobody forced the Nets to offer us anything for DWill. We didn`t trick them regarding his contract situation. They were perfectly willing to take their chances on him and if he leaves it is their problem, not ours. If he would happen to choose to come back to Utah, that would be his choice and his choice alone.
