Is Kobe crippling the Lakers??

This isn't about Lebron, but loyalty works both ways. He's still getting a fat paycheck to stay in LA. Money talks.

But ya, Kobe is a douchebag who is hard to play with. That's why he is done winning rings. He'll finish his career on a crappy team.

Lebron is kinda douchey for jumping ship, but he is still 10x cooler than Kobe.

And the fact that you know Lebron will share the ball on the court. If you play with Kobe you are going to be spending a lot of time watching him jack up shots.

Wait they edit ******* now?

It's really cute reading the Laker boards. They have so much hope. They think they're going to beat Houston tonight. Adorable.

They think Ronnie Price might be better than Lin. They think Ed Davis is good. They think Wesley Johnson is a legit 3 and D player. Henry will return and save the team. The Lakers are nothing bu washed up journeymen and mediocre talent. They'll be the worst team in the West for sure.

Wow. I forget they haven't really experienced a rebuild before.

It's hard to blame them. They do have Julius effing Randle.

I hope thats sarcasm. He looked good in flashes, but he ain't the second coming. He's a nice piece that will develop over time. They're so far away from contention it's not even funny.

I would definitely take the under on the 32 win demarcation Vegas set from them. Bunch of charmin softies on that roster outside of the legend......and Price I guess. I like Ronnie.

I like Ronnie too. A lot. But we've all watched him tear up scrimmages and preseason games. There's a reason he's a journeyman, he just not that good. Great energy guy, but for every awesome thing he does on one side of the ball, he ruins it on the other side, somehow.

Agree. I was just saying he doesn't belong in the soft category if I'm going to call the Lakers that. He's pretty tough for a PG. But you got have at least 6 or 7 out of your top 10 guys having that mentality when talent is lacking or else you're going be bad . The Lakers might have like 3.5 when Jordan Hill is actually aggressive. When Nick Young gets back, that drops to 3.

Rebuilds have been fast due to their ability to attract stars. This time is likely going to be different. They're no longer the premiere team in LA; Clippers are trendier. Just look at the celebs that attend the Lakers' games: mostly has-beens. Ownership is weak, with the division between the Buss kids always hanging over the team. Kupchak is not respected like West was, etc.

Yeah, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson, and Denzel Washington. All has-beens.

Nicholson is a has-been. Clippers have much more cachet nowadays, especially with Ballmer coming in. Most LA people are bandwagoners; they associate with what is "in" at the moment. And right now Clippers have the edge; they've outdrawn the Lakers in home attendance since 2012.

Soon as Kobe is gone, the Lakers will have absolutely no problem finding stars to come in and start over. Right now, Kobe is 100% of the problem, IMO. Lakers are in a rebuild, and Kobe is going after Jordan on the all time scoring list. Nobody wants to be a part of that, so the Lakers are kind of stuck rebuilding the way that most of the rest of us have to. Unfortunately, unless they completely whiff on their draft picks, Lakers will be sitting in a position where they've added young talent, and then sign a couple stars the moment Kobe is out the door. 16-17 the Lakers will be back in a big way, so we better relish the next couple of years.

Kobe is completely full of ****. All he cares about right now is catching MJ. I hope he gets within 10 points and then breaks both legs.
Kobe Bryant scored 44 points on 34 shots from the field in the Los Angeles Lakers' loss on Sunday to the Golden State Warriors.

“I’m more than willing to sit back,” Bryant said after the game, according to Janis Carr of the Orange County Register. “If you think I want to shoot this many times and be as aggressive at 36 years old, you’re freaking crazy.”

"I'd always rather get guys involved and play," Bryant added, according to Baxter Holmes at ESPN Los Angeles. "That's always the intent at the start of the ball game. But [when] you're 10, 12 points in the hole, I've got to try to keep us in the ball game at some point. But it's tough. It's tough."

Lol. LIAR!!!

Really is a genius move.

Let Kobe chase the all time scoring title.

Get the added revenue Kobe brings with ratings.

Lose a ton of game and get a potential star, or lose a ton of games and trade that potential star for an actual star.
