I think her name is isla fischer or somethingAmy Adams I believe? She was also fantastic in Enchanted... she's married to Borat I do believe.
I think her name is isla fischer or something
Primer has the most intricate--well thought out, meticulous story mentioned in this thread. The entire movie is an amalgam of clues.
I challenge anyone to present a film that can rival it in those areas.
Even if you're not a Christian I think one could appreciate the cinematography, direction, make up, etc..
OK I watched it.
Conceptual = 10/10
Story = 10/10
Acting = 5/10
Camera Work = 3/10
Sound = 1/10
I think that sums it up.
Mmk, movies I can think of that I really enjoyed/thought were pretty good:
The Departed
Cloud Atlas
Dead Poets Society
Sin Nombre
Los Olvidados
Y Tu Mama Tambien
Catch Me If You Can
American Beauty
Das Boot
Reservoir Dogs
Requiem for a Dream
Good Will Hunting
Critique my taste/give me some suggestions based on these anyone?
Never seen This Is The End. Netflixing now. Tropic Thunder was good not great IMO, but that Tom Cruise dancing scene is another one of the best scenes of all time.
That's what I mean. It's old, outdated, dumb comedy. One day I'll watch it in full hoping to see just how wrong I am.
No mention of Office Space yet? It's in that category IMO.
Fish is killing this thread over and over. Heath Ledger made Mickey Rourke in Iron Man 2 look like a scrub, and that was a damn good acting job.
Dark Knight is so overrated. The parts that don't have Heath Ledger aren't that great.
And the whole plotline with Two Face (is that his name?) is unnecessary and tacked on as an afterthought. But I won't trash it any further, given the hate that I got for not liking Tarantino.
You felt that you understood all the happenings on the first viewing? That's seems a bit contrived or a practice in hubris to me. Since there's like 10 timelines involved and nearly limitless permutations in some scenarios.. . It didn't seem arbitrary to you?? because you pieced together the 9+ timelines??
Mind if I ask ya a few questions to test your comprehension??
In the beginning, which Aaron was it sitting at the bench? Aaron 1 2 or 3?
Here's a pretty damn good visual of the timelines btw.(spoiler)
