......most movies have zero replay value to me no matter how great they are.
True Detective Season 2 made me like Season 1 less. Now I just feel like Season 1 was pretty good, not great or anything.
Primer has the most intricate--well thought out, meticulous story mentioned in this thread. The entire movie is an amalgam of clues.
I challenge anyone to present a film that can rival it in those areas.
Vanilla Sky.
That's the ****ty American remake of Abre Los Ojos, which was on my list.
I love Vanilla Sky. I've seen Abres Los Ojos twice and it just feels a bit too rushed to me. I should watch it again.
Battlefield Earth
Freddy Got Fingered
Indiana Jones 4
Speed 2
Mission Impossible 2
Gigli
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
Glitter
Birdman
AI
The Jar Jar trilogy.
I felt Vanilla Sky is a bit unauthentic emotionally compared to the original, and Tom Cruise's over-the-top performance kind of kills it.
Over the top? Not at all. He was absolutely perfect in it minus a couple cheesy parts before the accident.
Do you like Magnolia? Tom Cruise is great in that.
There Will Be Blood. I watched that stupid show for like an hour before I turned it off.
Nothing ever happened. Like a solid hour of watching grass grow. I'm surprised I hung in there that long. Who are the folks that like this show? (must be the same folks that watch golf on TV)
