is Quin Synder a candidate for COY?

Terry Stotts in going to win it, I predict. Portland replaced 4 of its 5 starters from the pervious year and still made the playoffs. I think also if he does win it, it's well deserved.
He is my choice too

Is this a real question? Snyder is medocre at best right now.

He should be considered but he won't win it. Brad Stevens will get it, Boston is the surprise of the east. That being said I have been so happy with Snyder as our coach since he was hired, he is a perfect fit for the team and he doesnt need COY to validate the progress he has made with this roster

I still think Snyder was the right pick. He has some things that he needs to improve, though, obviously.

and that's ok .. he's only in his second year and does so many good things.

He has proven to be a good development coach and I think he knows how to use his players (like having players doing what they are good at), everything else I question.

COY is a joke. Pop is the clear grunt runner if this is not a media award. Might as well have them accept at the golden globes.

I hate these arguments. Players outperform expectations so COY!!!1!111

Give me a real reason for COY.

I hope he is... he has done a great job, imagine where would jazz be if Corbin still the coach..

Def in top 10. I love QS but he is still learning from my perspective and not COY candidate. Gets props for adjusting from season 1 to 2. Last year they needed to understand their weaknesses and get passionate about fixing them. They needed to understand how hard a long NBA season is. Needed an occasional stare down or butt kicking for effort and focus. This year it is building confidence and maintaining progress on development. He clearly has control of the team, not an easy task. He needs to help establish a culture where he has stronger player-leaders. Their leadership situation is too diffuse, there should be a clear set of players who are in control of the locker room, such as the Pistons and Isiah and Laimbeer, who laid down the culture "this is how we do business on this team"
