What's weird is.... They HAVE to make upgrades to the Delta Center ..... but also, want a new arena somewhere else.Seems like it’s basically official at this point:

It’s my understanding that a rebuilt/new Delta Center would be for both teams, and it would be downtown

I'm soooo stoked! While I admit that I wanted an MLB team here, this is a very close second. I will most certainly be going to games. I took my parents to the pre-season game they had at the delta center earlier and even my mom who only know hockey from when I played up to high school had a blast.
