Is Snyder on Thin Ice?

The reason I ask this is that Locke really did a Debbie Downer type "Emptying the Noggin" after the NO game. Locke is an employee of the team and it might be a sign the front office is not happy now. If I recall QS has one more year after this year on his contract and to let him coach with a one year deal usually never happens. The team reups him or pays him off with a year to go and shows him the door.

What a stupid post!

If the jazz don't make the playoffs next year with a healthy Gobert and healthy Exum then I say yes.

This year? No

I thought that should and would be the case as he has two of his top players out in X and Rudy but after seeing Locke's blog I was wondering if something is brewing. It's not like Locke is writing that from his mother's basement and doesn't care if he upsets ownership.

Except for the part where Locke never said or even hinted at anything related to this.

Lindsey should be the one on thin ice. Outside of Gobert, what in the hell has he done to make the team better? Drafting Exum was a no-brainer. He was the highest ranked player on the board. 29 other GM's and most of us would have done the same, especially since PG was also our greatest position of need. Hood is looking more and more like just a serviceable bench player with his terrible shooting. Neto is a 3rd-string PG. Lindsey has wasted our other 2nd round picks on duds or trades. He hasn't traded for anyone significant (well, unless you consider Pleiss a good deal). And his free agent moves are simply pathetic. Lindsey, right now, is the worst GM we've had. Outside of Gobert, this team was built by KOC, Lindsey has done almost nothing to improve it. I will give him credit for Snyder after the Millers forced KOC to make Corbin Sloan's successor. This organization is WAY too loyal to FO personnel, coaches and players. I think QS is a good coach. I'm not sold on DL nor on a few of the players.

I don't think Gobert being injured and Hayward/Burks/Hood's shooting slump are on Quin....

I don't love Quin's boring offense, but I still think he deserves at least a couple more years to see what he can put together.

If anyone is on "thin ice", it's Dennis Lindsey. But even then, I feel like next year will be a change from course and we won't make the same mistakes we made with Neto/Pleiss signings.

Lol at all of us thinking we were a playoff team this year, man were we hood winked.

Most of thought we were a playoff team if we could stay healthy. Anyone who thought we could lose Rudy and keep winning hasn't been paying attention. Also, those people who thought we'd be better without Exum were high on glue. We miss Exum, but without Rudy, forget about it. Once Rudy comes back, we may still be a playoff team.

I think last night the Jazz got lulled into thinking they could take this game any time they wanted. But at the end, NO suddenly started making everything and the Jazz not having much time left to rally, just lost their composure, and I think, so did Quinn.

BUt wouldn't you say the general level of suckiness in the 4th quarter has to be on the head coch at least a little?

Oh, yeah. I think much of the "suckiness" is due to Snyder. I just think he should have some time to fix it. I HATE the offensive sets he is using. They are boring and too easy to stop.
