I don't recall Rodney ever guaranteeing a playoff position, but his lousy shooting certainly hasn't helped.
Initially no pun intended, but now pun intended lol

Pretty much this. Most of thought we were a playoff team if we could stay healthy. Anyone who thought we could lose Rudy and keep winning hasn't been paying attention. Also, those people who thought we'd be better without Exum were high on glue. We miss Exum, but without Rudy, forget about it. Once Rudy comes back, we may still be a playoff team.
AgreedSnyder is not on thin ice at all, the FO would be fools to let him go. Our two best defenders have been hurt and our lack of any real PG is glaring right now....yet Quin is making the offense work. It's not the prettiest but I keep hearing that its a top ten offense. Snyder is coaching the hell out of the roster he has been given.
Synder is dealing with Rudy and Exum out and Hood shooting like garbage. All three of those players were key for our end of the season run last year.
And honestly, if Snyder for some crazy reason does get fired, who would the Jazz be able to pick up that is better?
Lindsey should be the one on thin ice. Outside of Gobert, what in the hell has he done to make the team better? Drafting Exum was a no-brainer. He was the highest ranked player on the board. 29 other GM's and most of us would have done the same, especially since PG was also our greatest position of need. Hood is looking more and more like just a serviceable bench player with his terrible shooting. Neto is a 3rd-string PG. Lindsey has wasted our other 2nd round picks on duds or trades. He hasn't traded for anyone significant (well, unless you consider Pleiss a good deal). And his free agent moves are simply pathetic. Lindsey, right now, is the worst GM we've had. Outside of Gobert, this team was built by KOC, Lindsey has done almost nothing to improve it. I will give him credit for Snyder after the Millers forced KOC to make Corbin Sloan's successor. This organization is WAY too loyal to FO personnel, coaches and players. I think QS is a good coach. I'm not sold on DL nor on a few of the players.

All of his posts are stupid I want to take a spoon to my eyes every time I read his posts. Surprised his head hasn't been expected to see if there is in fact a pee for brain l.What a stupid post!

The moment Exum went down. I felt the Jazz would be screwedMost of thought we were a playoff team if we could stay healthy. We'd be pretty screwed without Hayward as wellPretty much this.
I was wrong about us not missing Exum.
I knew rudy was the most important player on the team before he got hurt.
He was the #1 guy that I would want to play every game out of anyone on this team

The only thing that's on thin ice is the OP's reputation of being what I considered a knowledgeable poster. I hope it's just that you bumped your head that morning homey. I think Quin has done a great job so far of developing a steady defense. Offense will come, I'm already seeing glimpses of what he wants to make happen with all the perimeter ball movement I saw against Denver that ended in wide open 3's. I like it.
This is coming from the guy who thinks Hayward sucks?
The irony...Your an idiot!!
The irony...
Isn't that the universal sign for picking up a prostitute?Go ahead make a circle with your thumb and fore finger on one hand, then use the tip of fore finger of the other hand as the basketball.
