But we gave it a whole game and it didn't work... How long are we supposed to wait?

But Exum was the only Jazz player with a plus by his name. Every other Jazzman that got in the game was minus for the time he was on the floor.
 
It's a make or miss league... last night we missed shots and they made them. We gave up too many good looks, but that Papaniko guy went 4-6 last night... watched the LA game and he was 0-2 and one was an air ball. We hit a couple threes and they miss a couple threes and we win the game last night.

Give it 25 games before you make any serious judgments on the team or its players. A wise man used to say "it's just one game."
 
it came down to us not hitting our 3s...we made three 3-pointers..... 3!

also we had some lapses on defense the houston took advantage of that.
 
just looked at the schedule

with a little bit of bad luck in detroit, indiana and ny we can have a 0-17 start till december ))

All the bad teams in the West are going to have the hardest SOS in the West since SOS is based off last year.

We were the worst team in the West last year, so we never have to play the worst team in the West (ourselves). So the stat is kind of misleading if you think we are better than anyone in the West.

I was so pumped to get Quin Snyder. I thought he would be so much better than TyCo. I thought he would be different...more intelligent...just plain old better.
But guess what? He did the same damn thing that Corbin always did. He relied too heavily on the vets. The young guys got very little burn because Q is a vet lover.

I mean, veteran Trey Burke got 38 minutes. 38 FREAKING MINUTES!!! While rookie Dante Exum only got 10 minutes.
Veteran Gordan Hayward also got 38 minutes. Rookie Joe Ingles only got 4 minutes. FOUR MINUTES. How the hell is Ingles supposed to develop with just four minutes?


Ugh....looks like we are in for another long *** year.

The guys he gave minutes to are still relatively young. My concern is the apparent lack of bench strength other than Booker and Gobert. Perhaps the two guys claimed on waivers will help. I think Dante should have gotten more of a run but this was a lot like last year when the team would be in a nip and tuck game and bottom would just fall out. I was also a bit concerned during the preseason that it seems like a lot of guys got sent packing without seeing if they were contributors or not on the floor like Cooley, Motum, Felix (remember he was hurt in the scrimmage), Kevin Murphy and Bost.

It's okay homey. Sarcasm is difficult to perceive in writing amongst near strangers. It might help if you go to the "Settings" tab at the upper right hand side of this page, in your settings select the "Show Sarcasm text in red" button. That should sharpen your old knife.
