What's new

is this a sign the world is ending?

It depends, is it Egg and Spam, or is it spam, egg, spam, spam, spam, baked beans, spam, spam & spam?
If it's the latter, yes, the world is ending.

Most internet forums have offerings that do indeed suggest that Spam is all there is. However, I've discovered a strange yellow orb that seems to fly by almost every day, hinting a some warmth even in an inversion. Sometimes, the things I see on the internet make even the ice fog of the Great Basin look warm and welcoming. . . .

That's exactly what we are doing here.
Inviting you to enjoy the ice fog of the Great Basin.
Enjoy! ;)

If you came to an internet forum in search of warmth and friendship, you have to wade through some manure first.

If you came here looking for the 5 minute argument, they don't offer it here... the only options are the full half hour, or abuse.

If you came looking for Rhodents Of Unusual Size they abound here in the Fire Swamp, but you have to cross the Cliffs of Insanity to get here.

personally, I'm willing to concede that the birds, the fish and the spam are possibly just the work of God's overly creative mind...

God was behind Big Bang, universe no accident: Pope
VATICAN CITY (Reuters) – God's mind was behind complex scientific theories such as the Big Bang, and Christians should reject the idea that the universe came into being by accident, Pope Benedict said on Thursday.

"The universe is not the result of chance, as some would want to make us believe," Benedict said on the day Christians mark the Epiphany, the day the Bible says the three kings reached the site where Jesus was born by following a star.

"Contemplating it (the universe) we are invited to read something profound into it: the wisdom of the creator, the inexhaustible creativity of God," he said in a sermon to some 10,000 people in St Peter's Basilica on the feast day.
