It was basically bad meth...strong high and then a quick ****ed up crash.I was pretty warm and fuzzy right when first half ended in the golden state game and we were sitting at 81 points and up by almost 20.
Andy Larsen. 20 hours ago. Derrick Favors is now listed as probable with left knee soreness.
Unfortunately this is very accurate. No - we play Favors and then use his injuries as excuses for performances. Guy is who he is. Can't believe some in here really thought Favors would develop some deadly corner 3.
When he plays well, we almost always win. Unfortunately, he has more irrelevant or bad games than good games.

People in here are acting like Jaren Jackson dominated Favors. He only scored 11 points on 12 shots. Yes he used a pretty similar move twice on him to score inside. Favors let him get too deep on those but still contested the shots. Jackson tried it a 3rd time and favors stuffed him.
Favors has sucked at finishing this year for some reason. Although I'm guessing it's the same reason everyone is struggling. Their legs are tired. Snyder runs them hard in practice.
Well if it makes you feel better he is not yet. But he does have a lot of upside.Yeah but JJJ is 19 years old. The fact he is already as good as Favors is disheartening.
Then you're wrong, both in your interpretation and conclusion. Rubio has been horrible but he isn't shooting anywhere near the volume that Mitchell has. Exum's 10 ppg at 40% off the bench isn't great, but isn't horrible (and he has had only one bad shooting game), and again, is low volume. From your post it sounds like crappy shooting from mitchell is a big problem. I would have to agree.
It also sounds like you think that our pg rotation shooting horribly isnt a problem.
Gonna have to disagree with you on that one.
As I said, irrelevant. It's simply dwarfed by how many of our possessions end with a missed shot or turnover from Mitchell (he also has 10 TO - more than anyone - and only 9 assists, BTW). Mitchell has missed as many shots (40) as Ingles has taken (and remember, no-one else has taken more than 25 shots). He is 21/61 for 57 pts when Ingles and Gobert are a combined 38/61 for 104 pts. The problem is the sheer volume of shots Mitchell is taking. Last season he was successful because he was just another player for most of the game, but would pick his spots to take over and dominate. This season, he's trying to take over the entire game, and taking far too many 3s (nearly 10 a game!) for someone who never shot a great percentage from range in the first place. Whether this is from him believing his own press or by design from Quin (unlikely), it just isn't working. Instead of carrying the team, he's holding it back.Btw, rubio has scored 20 points on 24 shots. (Similar to mitchell in that they both scored 4 less points than shots taken. Rubio has had much easier and more makeable shots however)
