....here's a guy that almost single-handedly set the Knicks back about 10 years with some of the most pathetic contract signings in NBA history, and before that or was it after that, he deep sixed the NBA's minor league or whatever it was called......and then after that couldn't win 5 games in a women's league or was it a YMCA league? I wouldn't let this guy manage a checking account with more than 100 bucks in it!

....maybe he should try retirement and social security! I remember him mentioning something derogatory about Stockton back in the day when he had a brief stint on a halftime show. I knew right then and there, this guy had very little to offer in the way of after retirement basketball skills! I mean he actually said something to the effect that John Stockton was OVERRATED! Can you believe that???

WOW. I remember the hype that with Thomas coming in and Florida having so much instate talent that there was no way FIU wasn't going to be an up and coming team in the future, then I never heard anything about them again. Now it all makes sense. That is just awful.
 
Isiah Thomas' NBA coaching record is 187-223 in the regular season and 5-10 in the playoffs. The Raptors went 52-122 while he was there (although in fairness, they were an expansion team) and the Knicks went 141-241 during his tenure as President of Basketball Operations. As mentioned earlier, he went 26-65 in his three seasons as coach at FIU. The Pistons did go 603-463 in the regular season during his playing career, wth a playoff record of 71-41. Throwing in his 47-17 record with Indiana college gives a total record of 1076-1074 (making sure not to double count his last two seasons with the Knicks as an exec and coach). So he's actually correct (for now) in saying that he's won more than he's lost. And yes, I was pretty bored.
