Isiah Collier Hype and Appreciation Thread

I still don't feel Collier has played as well as he's capable yet. He seems to be hyper focused on taking care of the ball and is toning his play down a bit. iow, the best is yet to come with him.

side note: i thought it was cool jazz coaches had him take that technical FT (on the defensive 3 seconds in the 4th q) and that he knocked it down.

Also his shot is a FARRRRRRRRR from broken to my eyes.

I think FOs got cold feet after the likes of Mudiay and Tyreke and the rise of Podiemski made them choose the likes of McCain and Carrington over Collier.

Collier had shown great shooting touches so far in the SL.

I am bothered by his distinct lack of neck. I am also bothered by the ridiculously long neck of Filipowski. We need to always play them together to have a balanced team.
@Handlogten's Heros if I get the chance to take a spin on the technology to combine two players, should I use that spin to average out these guys’ necks?

On the other thought, Collier and Flip can form a thriving symbiotic relationship. The giraffe Flip can spot a scoring opportunity from far away and then alert and pass the ball to the charging rhino Collier.

Lets put that as one of the last things on the list next to cuticle strength and ability to grow facial hair.

One thing I never agreed with were the people on Reddit who claimed Collier couldn't shoot. He shot 34% from three (three attempts per game) and 49% from the field on a mediocre team.

Yeah - his free throw shooting sucked - that's going to be an easy fix and I expect him to shoot 75%+ from the line this season.

He has really bad misses and yeah, if you cant hit your FT's you are going to be labeled a bad shooter. The college season is still a small sample size, so you are going to put more weight on things like form and FT% where you have more information and sample size.
