The game now has me getting Beal mostly. I'm ok with this.
I would be too except he hasn't been hitting effectively from 3 this year. Because of that, I just fear we don't need another SG to go with Burks and *cough* Hayward.

It just lost any cred with me because of the pool of players he has in the lottery. No QMiller, but others that may not go top 20.
Florida played UK last night. I really like Beal. His demeanor, his character, his work ethic... but I think he'll be not much better than Xavier Henry.
That would be disappointing. He seems to have better handles that Henry had, no?

Slightly better handles, slightly better rebounder, slightly better work ethic ... I just don't see any superstar, at all.
BTW, from the UK coaching staff directly, 'Bazz not leaving the left coast.
I have thought he stays home anyway, Dave Rice is a very good recruiter.
It is hard to see but the Jazz land Anthony Davis and Beal.
Wow, you must have tried a thousand times, lol.
I know I have homer goggles on, but I think mike moser is the type of player to rise during the draft process. He has turned in some monster games recently why he was puking before the last two games to the flu. His avg during those games 22.5 pts and 17 rebounds. He is a small forward and has developed a pretty reliable shot. Just saying if the jazz were to end up with their own pick it would probably end up in the 11-14 spot. It seems alot of bigs are projected there. I really think moser will be a great pro and has been under the radar being in a mid major.
If he does elect to turn pro, he'll need to get very lucky to fall to the right organization and hope they are in turn patient enough to develop him for a few years until he's ready to contribute, but there's plenty to work with.
Just saw a mock that had us taking this guy with the 8th pick.
Moe Harkless, SF, St. John’s, Fr.
Harkless is looking more and more like a one-and-done. He had 23 points and 13 rebounds in the Red Storm’s upset of West Virginia and 30 and 13 in a loss to Duke. At 6-8, Harkless has the ideal size for an NBA small forward. He has a nice mid-range game, can attack the basket, and is smooth scorer around the hoop. I think there is a realistic chance of him being a top-ten pick if he declares for the NBA Draft after this season. Anyone know more about him?
