I know that Khris is young, and still could develop-- but Ariza is both a better shooter and a better defender-- and he got 4 years 8mill per. Ariza (minus his awful shooting percentages this year) is basically Middleton's best case scenario-- no?
 
I'm surprised no one would want Z-Bo coming off the bench. If you're a team with Z-Bo off the bench, you're a title contender.

I was looking at his stats earlier, and misread them. His rookie year he shot terribly from deep. Has been above average the past two seasons. Is he undersized for small forward though?

Gotta look at the 3-point attempt rate, takes a lot more 3s per FG than Alec. He's not better than Burks in my mind though, don't know if he's worth paying for OUR team.

He has started more than half the games this year. Crazy how he didn't start over a #2 overall pick. Weird how teams start those guys over players they perceive to have less potential than a #2 overall pick. Crazy stuff.

Burks has a higher ceiling than a "shooter" averaging 1.3 3s a game, and an "elite defender" who really started to defend competently (according to forum posters here who haven't even watched him play) this season.

Don't know. But Ariza at 8m is a ****ing steal.

No, he is big enough and guards both wing positions.
 
Sounds like the Jazz are asking too much for Kancer. The fans are now upset with him and I'm sure Snyder isn't thrilled either. If he isn't moved and is a distraction we may be looking at Raja Bell 2.0.

z bo off the bench would be nice. But z bo will probably retire a grizzly. He ain't walking through that door to play on the bench. And kanter certainly ain't becoming z bo anytime soon.

Middleton has accomplished something Ariza hasn't accomplished in his 10 year NBA career, he has put together 2 straight seasons of being a consistent shooter. Middleton is a much better shooter than Ariza.

The days of starting a 2nd overall pick just because he's a 2nd overall pick are over. Of the top 10 picks of this draft, how many started from day one?

The only rookies who start off the bat are those who are better than the players they are replacing.
