What's new

It's happening bros...

If I had a 2nd overall pick who is a stretch PF, and I had a big akin to Millsap already starting at the 4, I would damn sure bring Parker off the bench. Parker would learn tons, grow slowly, and I'd release the kraken once I realized that it was time for Jabari to take over.

Has Gobert's year of benching and DNPs ruined his career ?

Millsap is a much better player though. Parker is a high usage guy who will probably be the focus of their offense soon enough if he pans out. I get what you're saying, but it really doesn't mean that Middleton is a ****ty player.

And according to Kanter's camp, his limited minutes first 2 seasons ruined his game. :p

Middleton has accomplished something Ariza hasn't accomplished in his 10 year NBA career, he has put together 2 straight seasons of being a consistent shooter. Middleton is a much better shooter than Ariza.

Ariza has accomplished something Middleton will probably never accomplish: being such a ****ing good defender that he could average 20% from the field, and he'd still play 40mpg-- and wrecking team offenses even with Dwight out.

*I can confirm I have a ballstreams account and probably watch way more games than most people though* If you really want to question my general NBA credentials.

How do you like Ballstreams? I have NBAtv and like it. Heard Ballstreams has better quality.

I have filled this forum with posts saying that we should get Middleton over the past week. He's an awesome fit for this squad-- and I don't think I'd rather trade Kanter for any other player right now. This doesn't mean we should over-value what he is. I'd ****ign lose my mind if we dropped 12 mill a year on Khris Middleton.

Besides, it's not like Khris is like Burks-- where he needs the ball to be in his hands a lot in order to score. He excels off-the-ball-- why didn't they start the lineup of Knight Middleton GreekFreak Jabari Henson/Zaza/whatever from the get-go?

Baffling

*Backstory to Dalamon's anger*

He picked Trevor Ariza over Jimmy Butler this year in Fantasy and I told him he would regret it. He has developed a man crush on Ariza because of this to make him forget about his terrible decision.

I don't think I disagree with any of that.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed at getting Reggie Jackson. I just think he'll fit right in with the kind of skills that he brings.

yet you make statements like Ariza being complete ***, which completely collapse any credibility of your eyesight. Is Tony Allen complete ***?

How do you know what I watch? Someone disagrees with you so that means they must not watch games?

Because you keep making posts that really shed insight into how you're really only replying on a players easily-obtainable stats to make judgements on their play. Ariza = complete ***. Lol.

Maybe I've been hard on Middleton. He's like the love child of Calbert Cheaney and Rip Hamilton. Sort of a CSI meets CSI: Miami if you will.

oh yeah-- he totally fits right in a team with no outside-shooting by bringing his lack of outside shooting.

Cuz Dennis is smart as ****, and he's trying to pull off a highway-robbery. Young bigs with gifted offense, at age 22-23 are rare. Especially those willing to be traded on rookie contracts. When's the last time a big on a rookie contract averaging 14/8 was traded? Was it for pennies?

IF he trades him, then fine. But if the deadline comes and goes I'll have to question the logic.

I heard that. I'll have to check it out. Is it of questionable legality?

What do you mean? You can't get in trouble for it. But no it isn't legal, and there is always the possibility it will be shut down, even though that's unlikely given it's based outside of the US. They've been doing the same with Hockey for ages.

Tony Allen doesnt' attempt to take 7 3 pointers a game while being an awful 3 point shooter.....

Not really if a deal isn't there... losing an opportunity to develop and sway Kanter is not worth just giving him away because we have Gobert.

Butler was 100% the better pick, and the better player even outside of fantasy.

Unfortunately, you conflate fantasy effectiveness with player effectiveness. That's why you see Ariza's FG% and you immediately call him complete ***.

Yet people actually guard Ariza on the perimeter, and contest his shots. Whereas teams in the playoffs literally ignore Allen when defending him. Memphis can't even play him as much as they want consequently.

You're getting clowned, bruh.
