What's new

It's happening bros...

1) I said he was bad last year, and like mediocre/average this year
2) fans overrate their players

I swear you said you have only seen like 3 Bucks games this year, so how would you know he is a mediocre/average defender without taking the word of people who have?

I try to watch the Bucks quite a bit (I love Giannis). Middleton has been a capable perimeter defender this season on one of the best defenses in the league.

Not a huge Ersan fan, but as third big he would be great. Also ok with 8 Million a year. If he were to get his stroke back this would be a pretty good get if he came with a mid first rounder.

I agree, Middleton would be the prize but a mid first rounder could be very valuable to us and Ersan can help.

Dude, just let Dalamon backtrack.

I know he has been underachieving and getting injured for quite a while, but Ersan would be a huge upgrade over Enes: minus the physicality, plus the rebounding, shooting, passing, basketball IQ, team basketball knowledge and court vision.

He would make a big difference.

Unfortunately, he is one of the players that never have beaten the monster called inconsistency.

here's a genius trade:

https://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=mddu5zh

edit:

*that trade could very well push ATL over the top. Plenty of motivation there.
*y'all have talked about Phoenix's need for a big
*we get help on the perimeter (defense), and the flexibility to pursue a deal for Trey.

Smart trade, I love Schroder but I think Lindsey wants a little more for Enes. And Phoenix should get more than that as well.

Would he even play over Booker? The only bad thing about trading Kanter (not advocating this a reason to not trade Kanter) is that we wouldn't have any backups who can play center. Would kind of force our hand in going with a 3-man rotation of Gobert/Favors/Booker. If we wanted to play Illyasova we would be really small at times with him and Booker on the floor at the same time. IDK, I'd just rather play Booker tbh. I guess we would probably cut Booker next year though to save money and just have Illyasova be our 3rd big anyway, which sucks cuz I like Booker.

28 hours before the trade deadline.

I most recently really like this defensive possession from Middleton, it was easier for me to find than I thought.

EDIT:
Shoot that's not it, one second
Fixed, I'm talking about the FOURTH video in the series of 4

I love how Cy and Dala have been arguing for 2 days over whether Middleton is worth 12m or only 9.5m. ROFL.

By reading a general league opinion on him, while also consulting stats. The stats indicate he is, the 6 games or so I've watched the Bucks showed defensive competency. I wouldn't call him an elite defender. Still, an upgrade over last year. The league opinion isn't really all-in on him being 10-12 mill a year.

capable in a good system-- And good for him. Will he keep that skill if he changes teams?

Jazz has to acquire a center to back Gobert. Backcourt defense is so terrible that the team cannot afford going for small game and only rely on Gobert's existence on court. Ersan is not necessarily small game but lacks size. It wouldn't be too bad with him and Favors or Gobert on the court. With Booker, well this is where the Jazz need that center.

A few million dollars has transformed DalaBro from raving, preying, and sacrificing children to get Middleton (#1 target!) into his biggest hater on the board.

:^O

Jazz need to bring in Tomic

K I really gotta avoid this whole trade deadline business. My productivity has hit the ****ter.

Hoping we land Khris, and I'll be okay with Ersan so long as we pick up tomic to fill the backup C void
