What's new

It's Official:

Is Brewer out or is he just refering to last year for Brewer?

Brewer is out.

And while I don't want to see any former player get injured, it's nice to see the Jazz got rid of several of their key players with huge holes in their game. Korver + Brewer would make a nice player, but individually they just couldn't hold it down by themselves. Boozer is just a dope, is constantly injured and plays defense like he's wearing metal pants.

Yeah, but he does tell KOC when he has overworked players to the point where a physical breakdown is both inevitable and imminent, at which time KOC ships them out to some chumps.

Or.... another way of looking at it is we decide to not resign players, and the Bulls decide its a good idea to sign those players. It's not like KOC, or Jerry forced Paxon to sign them. I think it worked out well for the Jazz. If anyone should be blamed its definitely Michael Jordan for pushing off. Karma

Yeah imminent injury is synonymous with Boozer. Oh and Kover wasn't exactly an iron horse here either.

Well, Paxson was kind enough to giev KOC that trade exception which O'Connor then flipped for Jefferson.
Here's wishing speedy recoveries for Korver and Brewer. They're both good guys who deserve a lot of success in life.
That other ex-Jazzman, may he leave another bag on the floor and break his other thumb.

Looks like we dodged not one but three bullets. Still, none of those guys deserved it really, they contributed within their abilities and none did anything wrong during their Jazz days. Ok the big fella deserved probably a little what he got.

Amazing how guys getting big contracts more than occasionally come up lame in their first year. Just a coincidence, I'm sure...

Korver + Brewer = Hayward

Besides, we have our own guy doggin' it. Deron has missed two games with an owie and will miss the last pre-season game for "personal reasons."

Did anybody here thinks that DWill not playing 2 games is part of Sloan's test to see who among the other PGs can step up in DWill's absence? Just being ready should instances like "real and serious" injury does happen. (Knock on wood that this will not happen).

Good. Dude plays till he's ready to drop. Last season looked tough on him. He carries this team on his back. Let him rest while they still don't matter.

Ronnie Brewer is back playing actually and remember he actually injured himself with the Grizz not the Jazz. Both he and Korver stunk it up their last game and as for Boozer they should have know his injury history.
