So if you check in with Brit news a bit, you will see some strange goings on over there.... the British Foreign Office trying to quash investigation in the Christopher Steele case. As is commonly understood, Christopher Steele was the "former MI6 agent" who worked on the Clinton/Obama/Dem/Mainstream Press smear job to get the dirt on Trump.
As everyone knows, Hillary Clinton "owned" the job as the next President of the United States. Everybody thought that was bank. But she and some of her supporters wanted to make sure nothing could go wrong, and anyways it's always nice to have some dirt on opponents.
Nixon had to step down as Pres because he hired some folks to get the goods on the Dems in 1972, using his own assets/means to do so. Obama/Hillary had the nerve to use officials of the US government on official US payroll do it in criminal operations disregarding many of our most essential laws..... Now, everything you see or hear in the oligarchal media is pure cover-up.
We sure don't have a free press if that's all the news you are willing to follow.
But the news in Britain isn't so solidly "owned", and some folks there are more in the habit of looking a bit deeper under the official story lines.
So, anyway, wealthy Republicans seeking dirt on Trump first hired Fusion GPS (Steele) to get the dirt on Trump.
During the primaries, a website funded by one of Trump’s wealthy Republican critics, Paul Singer, commissioned Fusion to investigate Trump.

When Trump got the nomination, the Dems bought out the Steele operation:
From April, Steele investigated Trump on behalf of the DNC, Fusion’s anonymous client. All Steele knew at first was that the client was a law firm. He had no idea what he would find. He later told David Corn, Washington editor of the magazine Mother Jones: “It started off as a fairly general inquiry.” Trump’s organisation owned luxury hotels around the world. Trump had, as far back as 1987, sought to do real estate deals in Moscow. (from the above Guardian link)
Anyway, the story goes on. The Guardian article is worth reading....
but remember.... Steele was a "former MI6 agent" now running his own company to provide political dirt.
If that were true, why would the British Foreign Office care to quash the court-ordered deposition Steele was required to face?

Just to give you a tip on how explosive this topic really is, within the past 24 hours Google has redacted all the references to it coming from British media. Now you see it, now you don't. Yesterday I did the search, today it's gone.... my god.... how desperate our oligarchal media is....
