He needs to accept his position as a spot-up shooter (in the NBA). On another note, would anyone trade Rubio to the Sharks for him?

Instead of trading Rubio for him, let's just clone them both to create a player with Jimmer's shooting and the rest of Rubio's game.
 
If I were a bazillionaire I would wear two brand new pairs of socks every day, and throw the used ones at homeless people on the side of freeway exits.

Going back in time reading some of those names. Jianlian Yi, Scola, Willie Warren. That dude has one of my all time favorite dunks.

I like your thinking, but if this technology is available let's use it on LeBron, Giannis, Kwahi, Steph, Durant before wasting it on Jimmer and Rubio.
 
I haven't followed Jimmer lately. Has he grown 6 inches and now plays D? What am I missing here?

Against some of the worst defense you’ll find anywhere. A few years ago I remember watching a highlight video of some guy scoring like 80 or something in the Chinese league. There was, quite literally, better defense being played in pickup games.

I’d be content just using it to combine Gobert with Okur, or Hornacek with Thabo, or Andrei Kirilenko’s physical gifts with Bookers mentality and rebounding, or Alec Burks with Royce O’Neale’s contract, or Sundiata Gaines’ toe with George Hill, or Mitchell’s eagerness to come here with Rony Seikaly (son of a bitch could have had a ring), or Cy’s obsession with Kuzma with DL’s willingness to take on Deng’s contract (instead of Rubio) on draft night, or Jarron Collins’ amazing tenure with Hayward, or Olden Polynice’s ability to protect our highways with Boozer’s ability to yell “AND1!”, or with every time Boler said “toes it for three” from 15’ out, it actually counted as a three.

Don’t the other players in that league play against the same defense that jimmer does?
 
He's been out of the NBA for a while, sounds like he's improved his overall game. I'd be willing to give him a 10 day to see what he's got. Could be a decent bench guy, or could be back in Shanghai in 2 weeks. Win-Win.
 
I'm going to get a lot of hate for this.... but I'd take Jimmer over Exum.... and I feel awful saying that
