Tribune has an article about a scenario they have where Parker falls to utah at 5. It's not impossibly far fetched imo.

1. - Cavs take Embiid
2. - Bucks take Exum
3. - Sixers take Wiggins
4. - Magic take Smart
5. - Jazz take Parker

Says the Cavs take Embiid as they already have a back court. Recent rumors have said that Embiid tops their draft ladder

Bucks take Exum as they already have a good SF in Antetokdsgalsgan or whatever his name is. That they need a C but Embiid is off the board

Sixers take Wiggins because he is Wiggins

Magic take smart as they need a PG and Exum is gone. Basically position of need over BPA.

That leaves Parker at 5.

Looks like for this to happen they need Embiid to go 1st and magic to go need over BPA... You could switch the order of Wiggins and Exum imo.

Thoughts?

Not going to happen.
I'm not even the tiniest bit optimistic about this scenario.
I could see one team passing on Parker, I don't see anyone passing on Wiggins even if they already have a SF.
Nobody wants to be the team that passed on Jordan or LeBron because they had someone decent in their position.
People think there's a shot of Wiggins being in the same timezone of those two if all goes well.... so no.

i always thought that you live in some pink and imaginary world, but now i'm convinced, you're just a troll

I can see Cavs draft either Randle or Gordon with their pick, because they love to draft tweeners, and they might wanna replace Bennet and they simply suck. Bucks will draft Embiid, Philly Wiggins, Magic Exum and the Jazz Parker.

Not happening. I wish but nope. Bucks won't pass on wiggins. Which means sixers aren't taking Exum (they have the ROY PG MCW) and Parker is gone here.

As far as I can tell the only player of the four that can make it to us is Exum if the magic like Smart more than Exum.

Well we just need one of the top 4 to fall in love with Smart, Vonleh, or Randle so that one of the top 4 drop to us. Which would most likely be Embiid or Exum imo.

Reports are that Cavs want Lebron back. If that is true then they go Wiggins or Embiid instead of Parker. Either way that makes Parker at 3 realistic.
Then you have Irlando at 4 that needs a PG. 1 -2 quirks and this happens. Unlikely but possible. Maybe I am just up in the night.

Never know with personal workouts too!

Yeah Wiggins doesn't get out of the 2nd pick way too much potential.

To me the key to Parker dropping to 5th is the Sixers falling in love with someone else at the 3rd pick. The Magic are strong prospects for taking Exum or Smart. Especially if they can do a trade with you guys give y'all Parker and y'all give them Exum or Smart who ever they like better and some other compensation.

I think its more possible we trade up, and nab him. I know the price will be high, but I am willing to pay it.

I think there is a small chance that scenario happens but in reality I find it hard to see people passing on Wiggins or Parker. It is too early to know what is going to happen. I just wish the draft was earlier. I really wanted Wiggins. I like Parker but he seems like a tweener to me. He really needs to improve his physical conditioning in order to play at SF and I still have my doubts. I think he will get murdered at PF.

I agree that Orlando is our best shot to move up. However I don't think Parker will be there at 4. I think Embiid/Wiggins/Parker then you have Exum..Vonleh, Randle/Smart. I think workouts are going to be huge this year. I still think no one knows exactly how it will turn out at this time. Lots of talent but still some suspense.

I suppose it's possible, but I see it as dumb and dumber odds.

Even if the Cavs want LeBron back, I think there is zero chance he goes back. He may talk all nice, but I very much doubt he would seriously go back.
He has a good thing going and chompionships to win in Miami. It's not as sure of a thing if he goes back even if he really wanted to.

Just my opinion, I do see what you are saying though and it would be nice. Just not getting my hopes up.

I am a little bit more optimistic about being able to move up though after reading through this thread.
