I have no interest in acquiring filler/middling talent. That seems to be primarily what's on the market right now. Jazz need to get a stud to pair with Gobert and Mitchell, and hope Exum continues to develop.

Living north of Boston, I hear a lot about the Celtics. They are talking like they are going after Mark Gasol. So maybe some of these guys will be going to Memphis if some how the Celtics manage to make a trade for Gasol. Personally, I freak'n hate the Celtics so I wouldn't want to help them out. I do like Avery and Crowder though.
 
According to the Trib the Jazz are open/willing to do sign and trade with Haywood.

Really makes sense for both teams.

Haywood can go **** himself. If he's nice enough to get us Crowder, then I'll mail him some lube to facilitate the process.

How many years left on Crowder's deal? Actually, I change my mind, he's a good economical replacement for Hayward. Very movable contract too.
 
Do Jazz really want to help Celtics make it easier to get Hayward?
Even if they get an asset back.

Except Hood could be maxxed next year. Then that "middling" talent of Crowder will be looking awfully good.

It's already a done deal. So yes, obviously the Jazz should get something if they can.

Crowder's contract is a steal for what he provides at a vacant spot for us.
