Look, I'm not going to rub anything in (I actually am rooting for the Jazz), but I told you the Clippers resting those players meant nothing.

I also told you that loss against the Knicks in January effectively knocked the Jazz out of the playoffs.

Are you now seeing that the Knicks are the bane of the Jazz?

This will always be my favorite Jamal Crawford game.

this thread's totally unnecessary though. The Knicks traded him for pennies on the dollar, I don't know what you're even bragging about --- that you predicted an NBA game would be close?

If you didn't think that players like Paul Pierce, Jamal Crawford and Jeff Green could rise to the occasion on any given night then you haven't been paying attention very well.

If that game gets played 100 times, Utah wins 85 of them.

I'm not crowing about anything. I am just pointing out that for some inexplicable reason, Jazz fans thought the game was in the bag -- instant win.

And I lament the loss of Crawford. The league is loaded with top talent that the Knicks got rid of, Crawford is the one that hurts the most. That guy can play.

So did Snyder and the Jazz think it was in the bag -- you could tell the way they started the game, and then after they regained the lead, the way Quin began subbing in people. That's why they lost. They put little pressure on those 3's in the early part of the game, allowing the Clips to get into a rhythm and guys like Jeff Green who career-wise is not a good 3-pt shooter was knocking them down. The Jazz have only themselves to blame for not putting in the effort that was needed.

Lack of experience/maturity with both players and coaching staff ?

Unfortunately TV still does not show Utah Jazz games so I didn't see the start. I only caught the end when NBA TV did that "red zone" thing and cut to the game.

Instead of giving us a game that mattered -- Utah going for the playoffs -- the b-ball networks give us crap. Tonight's NBA Night Game of the week on ABC is Cavs vs. the friggin' Bulls. Wow. Utah/Mavs/Houston are in a top playoff race and we are given Bulls games or Kobe. But I should be happy that Kobe retired this year because at least I get to see Utah on Wednesday night. Big game for the Jazz...but something tells me all the talk will be about Kobe.

This could be a tough game for the Jazz because it just might happen that they would have to win to make the playoffs. If so, expect Kobe to turn it on. It will be his last game and you know he thrives on competition. Not that he would want to knock the Jazz out of the playoffs, but the idea of facing any team in that situation in his last game, well you know he will be up for that.

Jamal Crawford has always killed this team no matter who he is playing for. I knew if he got the ball at the end it was going to be a 3 point shot and the odds were forever in his favor to drain it. He did.
