I mean its not like he played 4 years of college ball at arguably the best bball program in the county and won a national championship or anything.

And again, this is the perfect season to develop players and let them play through mistakes.

Or maybe the way he developed him made him work harder and be ready for this moment instead of getting his confidence crushed by playing like ****?
 
I think playing good or bad has a huge impact on your future play. If you just throw a rookie out before they are ready, it could wreck their confidence for the rest of their career. Maybe not for every player, but I truly believe that for some.

Gotta love how opposing team’s announcers are now referring to Markkanen as the Finnisher! What a monicker! I guess Utahn’s just really are smarter.:cool:
 
Its interesting that the timing of ochai playing just happened to coincide with our worst losing streak of the season and the tank talk ramping up.
