I wish that would happen. Even if they do luck into Flagg I highly doubt they would purposely hand over their '26 FRP to OKC.
They might not have a choice. Plus the reason you tank is to get The Guy imo. Flagg be that dude. Dont need to tank no more after that. Plus it's top 8 protected. It would be hard to be that bad with this same roster but older, more experienced and better and with Flagg added to it.

Yeah, unless we gut the team, there won't be another bottom 3 tank next year as well.
Gotta be bottom 8 and Ainge will make it happen, I’m sure.

Good news is after next year we’re out from under the thumb of one of Lindsey’s few tragic mistakes.

Not if you trade Lauri (and/or Sexton, Collins).

Huh? Every move he made after the Dok pick was absolute trash (except re-signing JC).

If the jazz are able to keep this roster and preserve the tank and land Flagg and then make a few trades with their draft assets and hit on a few dudes in free agency then they could be solidly in the playoff hunt next year and make a little noise.
You can't seriously believe there won't be a tank next season even if we do get something like a top 2 pick.

Flagg is years away from being in the discussion of turning a bad team into a contender. And that's the best case scenario.

It's much more likely that he's Hayward part 2.

Feel bad for Collins sitting out. Feel like he almost has to have a guarantee to be traded. Would you really want to sit out on the midst of a career year when you potentially could sign a new deal? He's playing so well and looks very healthy

We had almost 3X the amount of turnovers and only lost by 9.

I had stated I thought Kessler would play well but he absolutely humiliated Williams. 9 offensive boards as well lol
Lauri had several missed 3s early that he usually knocks down as well.

Of course OKC has significant injuries to their two best bigs, but I'm shocked at well they played without them. Feels like they should get exploited by more teams with Chet and Hartenstein out, but SGA is that unguardable.
