my rough prediction about next year's offense is that it will focus a lot more on transition offense and defense. If not, then we really are wasting our time with Harris. The very fact that Jan loves to run in the open floor and has the athleticism to finish with purpose makes him an intriguing prospect. I'm betting that Harris will push like hell, and the half-court will run more through Hayward.

... Harris, Hayward, Jan, and Favors running and gunning sounds pretty fun to watch.

I wouldn't get too bent if we picked him and DWill2, Irving, and Biyombo are off the board.

I don't know any of this stuff. I just know athleticism is not an issue. Watch the highlight videos. The dude looks like he can jump over the backboard if he tried. He dunks like he's angry. There's nothing white about his game.

My youtube is blocked here at work. So, I'll have to look him up tonight. But he sounds very intriguing though. And I just checked again & I still can't give you a +Rep :(

For the season, he was shooting over 40% from the 3 point line. Obviously, he needs to spend about a thousand hours working on free throws with Hornychick, but I think the fundamentals are there.

He probably just lacks focus and clear pre-shot routine on the free throw line. For example, I think Malone would have stayed a 50% free throw shooter without his patented whispering the the netherworlds and deep pre-shot knee bends.

Two things. First, I love how you follow me around this site. It's almost like you have this really bad case of ***** envy, but that theory is out the window considering I'm hung like a baby seahorse.

Second, are you saying that Kobe grew up in the ghetto without a father? Please advise.

And isn't he 18-19? So there's time for that part of his game to come. But isn't he under contract with his current team for another 2 or 3 years?
 
The fact he actually won something meaningful recently while playing heavy minutes is somewhat encouraging. Vesely is 21, by the way, 2-3 years older than the other euro prospects that have shown more (Kanter, Jonas).

Not sure if anyone has read this report but I don't like it at all.

He is a bad free throw shooter. He is a good help defender but he is horrible at man to man defense. He is a mediocre ball handler and they said its NOT pretty in the open court. His 3 point shot isn't even great. Its ok. And he isn't strong enough to play PF and isn't quick enough LATERALLY to play SF on defense.

So he is just athletic and long? And somehow people want this guy over Biyombo. And Biyombo is 6'9. I swear people forget every year that the NBA lies about heights. They have for years. So stop saying he is 6'7 or 6'8. Go off of what they list them as. Not what they measure at. Because every nba player is 1-2 inches shorter than there listed height. Did you just start to look at the NBA draft? is this your first year following the NBA draft?

On an unrelated note, I suddenly hope we trade both our draft picks for a vet.
 
I heard Locke mention him briefly yesterday when talking about another subject (sounds like he's watching videos on potential picks and getting ready to do a write up) and he sounded impressed especially about his athleticism but cautious and unsure because of him not being physical and 20-21 yrs old.
 
With his contract situation I wouldn't be surprised to see him slip out of the top ten, if teams are legitimately considering him there.
