Jarrell Brantley Returns on 2-Way Deal

I think they get paid per game they're on the active roster.
It changed this season. It is a flat salary divided by the number of games the player is signed. No more you get the NBA rate for each game you are with the big team. I suspect it was a bookkeeping headache.

Brantley is ready to take the NBA by storm. Some say he might even be the second most athletic player on the Jazz roster. :)

Seriously though I think we're all high on Brantley. His highlights are awesome. Huge quiver of moves.

Didn't someone say he's eating healthy now for the first time? I can't find it.

"A second-round pick in 2019, Brantley excelled at the G League level last season, as he was named to the All-NBAGL First Team.
The 6’5 forward averaged 18.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.4 steals for the Stars in his debut season. The Salt Lake City Stars had the second-best record in the G-League this season. "

Glad to have him back, I liked all of our end of bench guys last season, wish we'd seen them get a little more run, but in the short time we saw them Brantley really looked like he had a solid amount of potential.

There isn’t a scenario that exists that I could be convinced Gorgeous Georges is better than Brantley at.

Basketball
Kissing babes
Washing a car
Making a DiGiorno
Etc etc etc

Taking an intro to linear algebra exam?

We are still thin at the 4 so instead of making guys like Bojan and Royce to pretend that they are 4s, why not give Brantley some burns at least that way we know if we should move on.
agreed. and frankly we have to see if one of these young dudes can be a decent trade piece

He'll get more opportunity if the Jazz move Niang.

It's Juwan Morgan who is starting to eat healthy. Brantley can do some interesting things, but for the role the Jazz need him to play, he needs to improve his defense, his rebounding and his 3pt shooting. He needs to be able to do more of the basic PJ Tucker-type things before he can move on to playing with the ball in his hands.

That said, his defense and secondary rim protection are better than George Niang's already, and his size and length helps eat up space and creates some disruption defensively, which the Jazz do need.

Morgan? Damn, I was envisioning a cut like a hooker in a street fight Brantley feasting on opposing defenses this year. Maybe he should have meals at Morgan's.
