Memphis is in a cash crunch and they are letting the market dictate his value. He is a stretch 4 that plays with a lot of energy and would be a great fit next to rudy.

What contract do you think we could offer that would keep Memphis from matching.

They are at

Mike Conley $28,530,608
Chandler Parsons $23,112,004
Marc Gasol $22,642,350
Brandan Wright $5,955,760
Troy Daniels $3,408,520
James Ennis $3,028,410
Wade Baldwin $1,874,400
Jarell Martin $1,471,382
Deyonta Davis $1,312,611
Andrew Harrison $1,312,611
Wayne Selden
Kobi Simmons
Totals $92,648,656

That is a lot of money tied up in 3 contracts

he shot 38% from 3 last year being the 4th option on offense

He's tough, but the market is drying up so I think he can be had for a lot less than $13 million. If we could score him for $5 million this is a no brainer. For me it seems like there are going to be a number of 1 year deals handed out this season. He, Gay, and the clipper Mbahmer could easily be 3 cheap rental contracts that swing championship contenders like the Heat or Boston. But, for slightly more they may come to Utah...

Dont forget Green is older than Favors and doesnt seem to have miuch upside beyond what weve seen last year. 15 pts, 7ish rebounds and a 3 a game with hot/cold streaks. Not a great rim protector either.

I'd say you could get better if you'd deal Favors in order to make room for a stretch pf.

Although Green is older I don't think that means he can't get better.
