Jazz 1st Round selection will be...

This video of Donte DiVincenzo is a sign of many things to come between Donovan and Donte.

I think we're going to end up taking Donte as well. I think it would be a good pick, Donte just seems to fit that Jazz DNA that Dennis Lindsey often talks about.

If things go well with North Korea, Un May be declaring for the draft. We’ve heard for years from the North that he’s NBA level talent. Picking up a guy totally off the radar is right up DL’s alley. High risk/reward type move.

Wouldn't he be the #1 pick though? Word out of North Korea is that he shoots 100% from the field, 3 and the FT. They also say that he is the best scorer, rebounder, shot blocker and passer of all time. Every hall of famer ever rolled into a fat five foot nothing, 300 pound frame.

Height is not as important as standing reach. His is at least 5'1.

Being serious though, I think that Donte could end up being the pick. I wouldn't be upset if he was.

Aside from that, someone tell me more about Donte. I know his numbers aren’t eye popping (at least scoring), but reading between the lines I know he had a good tournament. Someone give me the one or two line synopsis on him.

Alright. So is he a 6’5” Hayward who plays with more passion? Looks pretty solid, and aggressive. Why did he only average 13.4 PPG as a junior?

Tested extremely well at the Combine. Posted the highest standing vert score, 34.50 & the highest max vert score, 42.00. He also played well on offense and defense in the 5v5 scrimmages. Had a good tournament winning Most Outstanding Player in the Final 4. His overall talent and skill set may have been hidden because he came off of the bench for Villanova.

Will he be there at 21? Often times highlights don’t impress me, but there were a number of things I really liked of what I saw.

It's hard to know to be honest. His stock has been rising since the combine. This is a pretty deep class of SG's and SF's. I could see him going anywhere from late lottery to mid to late 20's.

If Boston selects this kid, GH might never play another game for the Celts.
