Jazz 1st Round selection will be...

Eyeball test says the kid is good. But man do I hate the draft. I hate liking guys then not getting them. Last year I liked Ojeleye and we got Mitchell so FTW.

Don't like Donte at 21 at all. Evans, Melton, Brown, Huerter, Shamet, Shake, Walker, Brunson, Musa, Okogie, all guards/wings I'd prefer off the top of my head.

Warriors formula was to stockpile these tall wing player who can shoot, switch defend, playmake (Klay, Livington, Iggy, Draymond)....who is that guy in this draft?

in a coaches interview 3yrs ago snyder said the next big thing in the NBA is the switch and getting players who can switch well. He was ahead of the curve and I think thats the same vision he/dl currently have for the jazz team

Warriors formula?

Warriors bench is nearly all centers.

If we draft him and re-sign Neto, we'd easily have the hottest collection of talent in the league.

Warriors wing rotation is 3 deep (KD/Iggy/Klay). A big reason they struggling right now is because of lack of wing depth.

Even their guard depth blows. Livingston is kind of doo-doo but he is a vet they can trust not to **** up too badly. McCaw has been bad all year. Cook was good when Curry was out, but has sucked since Curry returned.

Meanwhile they have SEVEN centers, none of them who are actually good (though Looney has been OK this series): Javale, Zaza, Bell, Jones, Looney, West, and Boucher.

When everyone is healthy it's no big deal, but as soon as one of the main 4 goes out, it's a huge issue.

Wouldn't he be the #1 pick though? Word out of North Korea is that he shoots 100% from the field, 3 and the FT. They also say that he is the best scorer, rebounder, shot blocker and passer of all time. Every hall of famer ever rolled into a fat five foot nothing, 300 pound frame.
I thought that's what they said about Trump. I heard Donald held a private workout at the White House (on the court Obama had built) and he said it was the biggest crowd to ever attend a workout. Not all could fit in the gym, so they had to stream the workout into the movie theater and the conference rooms.

I can't see the Jazz taking Donte over Hutchison, KBD, Troy Brown, Elie Okobo or Jerome Robinson. Maybe Gary Trent Jr.

Idk if they'd take him over Hutchison, KDB or Okobo. I def think that they would take him over Troy Brown who doesn't currently have a jumpshot and didn't test as well, and over Gary Trent Jr who is a bit one dimensional.

Make Utah Go To the Finals Again.

I'd be ok with Donte. Jazz often struggled to score and he's someone who could come in and contribute right away off the bench. IMO, the Jazz need a big SF or combo forward. Ingles isn't getting any younger and the Jazz have a lot of guys who are in that 6'5-6'6 range. Can't automatically count on O'Neale or Crowder to develop into a good starter. Sefolosha and Jerebko are just placeholders.

Seems to be a nice crop of players in the 6'7-6'8" range: Bates-Diop, Hutchison, Brown, Huerter.

I don't see a rookie getting much playing time, so not concerned if the Jazz draft someone who plays in the GLeague for most of the season.
