Sure wish we had given that draft pick to Chicago three weeks ago for Mirotic. Oh well, hindsight...at the time it looked like Jazz were headed towards a top-7 pick instead of the playoffs.

Why? We are doing just fine and NO is struggling... Niko has not played well yet and is likely to be available on the cheap this offseason.

Agreed. Drafting is one of DLs main strengths. Why take that strength away for a mediocre player. Especially when we are dominating the league right now.

Over the 4 games (small sample size of course) he's averaging 14/9/2 on a 39/26/64 shooting split. That is uhhh...not good.

He did have a good game against the Nets, but they're the Nets, and don't forget that he played 49 minutes. It inflated the numbers a good amount.

The bus has seen better days, Stoked is strapped to the tank and hgb looks like a tired driver. I'm still sitting in back chugging kool-aid and watching Rudy highlights, but damn is it getting tough.

Feels like a loooong time ago! So much more fun with a real bus.

No sarcasm at all. Mirotic for a top-10 pick? Nope. Mirotic for a pick that might be around 20? I think that's a very good value. Chicago took on a bad contract, so maybe we could have traded them Burks.

Despite a few bad games, Niko is a good player. Is he getting open looks in NO like he would with Utah?

Jazz still do the Crowder trade. I think his more natural position is the 3. Mirotic backs up Favs, who also gets minutes at the 5.

This reminds me. What was that Nintendo game about 28 years ago where you would race trucks around dirt tracks? There were different tracks and I think you got fake $ to improve your acceleration, speed, nitrous oxide turbo boosters or shocks.
