I'm sorry. I recognize the defensive value to the team that Rudy has. But even in the P&R he's limited. How many times has he dropped the ball, or put up an ugly shot? He seems to have regressed from last season. This may be AK all over again. Signs the big contract and then doesn't work very hard in the summer. Gobert looks like he had lots of fun traveling to France and Brazil with Raul, but didn't work on his game.

A case can be made for a more mobile 5 who can shoot, especially as tax issues arise.

It also gives Quin a chance to better integrate O’Neale and Crowder into the lineup. No doubt those guys are still grinding over the break to get ready for the stretch run.

I think that the break is coming at a perfect time for the Jazz. They’re on a roll and only getting stronger (with a weaker schedule) to finish the season.

I’m at a point where I’m 100% positive that we make the playoffs and very confident (75%) that we get a 6th seed or better.

Just making the playoffs after the Hayward/Hill offseason is amazing.

Getting to the 6th seed or advancing to the second round would be astronomical.

Imagine the DM hype if he continues to show improvement (like he has all year) up into and during the playoffs.
 
I'm still really worried we barely miss playoffs. It's like the regular season has taken on a playoff excitement for me for that reason.
 
It's crazy that this team can possibly get as high as the 3 seed or as low as the 10 seed. It makes the rest of the season extremely exciting. As has been stated, with the young talent and cap situation, the future Jazz for the next couple seasons should be in a great situation.

Half the games we have left are against lottery teams who will start focusing on lottery position. We have rest, easier competition and majority time at home.

We should be really disappointed if we miss. Everything is in our favor.

Agreed. Missing would be a hard, hard collapse. Only finishing 8th will even feel like falling short of what we should do.

I can see the last 2 spots coming down to which team is the healthiest. An injury to a key player could be the difference. Utah has been making up some ground, but Denver and NO keep winning.

I’m going to guarantee it will be a sell out game.
The Streak combined with a weekend game against a playoff team we are trying to catch that immediately follows Spida’s big weekend...... it better ****ing sell out.

Plus an ex local boy turned nba all star playing for the opposition.

Yep. I know it’s not but I feel like it’s must win. I want the win to get the players rolling again and don’t want any doubt to creep in.
