only thing we can hope for now is quadruple over-time in the nuggets rockets game so the jazz can have the rockets in their absolute slumber.

So Denver beats the Spurs twice in close games, and the Spurs proceed to wreck the Cavs. Makes sense. Lets see if the Rockets can get the Nuggets this evening.

Jazz need to beat the T'wolves who won't have Jimmy Butler. We need the Steve Nash version of Ricky Rubio back.

Waiting for other teams to lose down the stretch isn't panning out so far. We dug ourselves into such a deep hole. Good hell. Cavs suck. Bucks suck.

Rickets are beating a decent Denver team with the greatest of ease. With CP3 joining them they're just another superteam, best in the league right now, poised to push GSW to the limit, unless they encounter the old D'antoni curse. If Utah gets worked tomorrow I'll try not to get too worked up about it.

I will be surprised if the Pelicans can sustain this winning. And it's possible some other team goes down. Maybe the Wolves without Butler.

I want Utah in the playoffs this year in the worst way. Show we can get there without Hayseed. Increase ROY odds for Donovan. Come on, Jazz.

Every game from here on out is a playoff game for Utah.

Jazz just need to focus all of their energy to controlling their own results. Win every game that they can. If they do that, there’s a high likelihood that a couple of other teams will stumble. Can’t stress out and focus on the standings. One game at a time.

I’m really glad that the Jazz got a lot of their struggles out of their system during that atrocious December and January stretch and should have an easier path to make the playoffs at the end here.

Like I said. Playoffs started this past Friday. The Jazz are 1-1 with 22 games left to go. It’s highly likely that they need to go (at least) 13-9 to make the postseason. Let’s go!

Tomorrow may very well feel like a big setback day. We play the best team in the league while the Pels, OKC, and Wolves each play teams that have only won eighteen games a piece. All the bottom feeders. The tank teams. So a loss in any of those games is found money. Odds are they all get wins while we get another loss. But maybe we'll be surprised!

They're not the best team in the league. The best team in the league is the one that won 2 out of the last 3 championships, and have 3-4 HOFs. Not the team that hold a 1 game advantage at an arbitrary point of the regular season.

Fair enough. They're playing with greater urgency than GSW right now, though.

Do you honestly have Klay Thompson or Draymond Green as HOF caliber? Or is that just hyperbole?

I get Curry and Durant - both guys are elite scorers, #1 options and former MVPs. Not buying the other two at all.

David Locke thinks its gonna take 47 wins to get into the playoffs this year. If that is the case, the Jazz have to avoid missteps. The Rockets are clearly the better team, but we are at home and they are on a back to back... we can make this competitive.

Feels like it's going to be 48 wins to make the playoffs. You might even need the tiebreakers. ****. it is going to be bitter to miss the playoffs with this team. I mean--bot bitter. We know we got a bright future and making the playoffs this year is really only grave and the first step in the hero's journey that is Donnie Mitch. But after that 11 game streak, the way this team has come together, the fact that for the first time in my adult life we have drafted a legit potential superstar, a championship piece--we deserve this. We deserve to see the rookie Mitchell and the best defensive player in the league Gobert come in and surprise the timberwolves, or the spurs in the first round. I think we have a good shot at anyone not named the Warriors or Rockets.

And yet... no one ever loses. The tanking situation is awful, worse than it has ever been. The league should be ashamed. The suns tank job last night in portland was ****ing disgusting. You have half the teams in an absolute tankapaloza and they aren't going to help at all. You have an eastern conference which, once again, is inferior to its western conference counterparts.

League needs to fix tanking. Make it so the 8th and 7th seed have are in the lottery, and every one's lottery odds are equal. This would make the league so much better imo. That suns game was just so shameful.
