To be nice. He could have had some chill and just said to keep an eye out... can't just be like "I got a text... **** is done!"
 
I think we would see something out of Woj like "talks are gaining steam". But maybe CAA don't want that out there.

I don’t want Rose and Fournier. Gotta have some young guys to start the rebuilding process. Hopefully, the results are better than expected on that end.

Toppin & Reddish would be fine (if disappointing) - I do still want the draft rights to the Euro kid no matter who else comes back.

He did the same thing when Rudy Gobert was traded. His sources are good. He should have said, "A deal is being finalized to trade Donovan Mitchell. It should be announced soon." That would have been cleaner.

It gets muddy when he says things like, "Jazz are getting Knicks picks," and "It's a haul." That's going to set some people off.
