What's new

Jazz and Pistons tonight 8:30. Most lazy game thread ever

There's underperforming, and then there's worse than Trey Burke offensive efficiency. Which for a big is especially bad.
Last season he averaged 16.4 PPG while shooting 52% from the field. Which seems more likely to you--that he's physically hobbled, or that a 25 year old who has improved every year of his career has suddenly started sucking at basketball for no reason?

When did I ever say his injuries had nothing to do with it?

i know favors is working his way through injury, but if he's on the floor, he needs to be held accountable for his play. his play on the floor, regardless of injury, has sucked 90% of the year. Are we better with him (hobbled) on the floor? idk. maybe. but he's had quite a few games where he was a big net negative.

U can definitely tell he's not right physically. No explosion/can't finish inside.

Yeah but he spaces the floor better than Favors. Favors screwing up spacing is why the Jazz can't hit wide open shots.
Give it a rest ffs

People kill Lyles for his defense here but did y'all just see how weak that Diaw contest on the and-1 was? I hate seeing that, I feel like the defense works too hard to give up those type of freebies... He had ample time to get ready to jump and still barely got off the ground (didn't get to rim level)
