SALT LAKE CITY (July 1, 2014) – KJZZ 14 Television and The Zone Sports Network will simultaneously broadcast the three preliminary round games of the Utah Jazz at the NBA Summer League 2014. The Jazz plays the Philadelphia 76ers on July 12 at 8:30 p.m., Milwaukee Bucks on July 14 at 8:30 p.m. and the Denver Nuggets on July 15 at 6:30 p.m. (All times MT)

Jazz broadcasters Craig Bolerjack and Ron Boone will provide play-by-play and analysis on television and radio. The games will be simulcast on KJZZ channel 14 for over the air, Dish and DirecTV subscribers and Comcast channels 3 (SD) and 657 (HD) as well ason The Zone Sports Network at 97.5 (KZNS FM), 1280 (KZNS AM), and 960 (KOVO AM).

The three preliminary game broadcasts will air from the Thomas & Mack Center as the Jazz makes its first-ever appearance in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. After the initial three games, the teams will then be seeded in a tournament, which runs through July 21 at the Thomas & Mack Center and the COX Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The Jazz is guaranteed to play at least five games.

NBA TV will be televising all 67 NBA Summer League games from Las Vegas, including 38 games live during the event, and every game will also be available live at NBA.com/summerleague and on the NBA Summer League app via a subscription-based package.

Utahjazz.com will have correspondents in Las Vegas covering the Jazz and Summer League, and Jazz fans will be able to access box scores, game recaps, cumulative statistics, behind-the-scenes coverage and much more by visiting www.utahjazz.comand following the official Jazz twitter account, @utahjazz.

Utah previously participated in the Orlando Pro Summer League from 2009-10 and 2012-13 (no summer leagues were held in 2011) after hosting the Rocky Mountain Revue until 2008. The Jazz does have a little history playing in Las Vegas however, having played a total of 13 regular season home games at the Thomas & Mack Center during the 1983-84 (11 games) and 1984-85 (two games) seasons. In addition, Jazz guard Ian Clark was MVP of the 2013 Summer League Championship Game last year after scoring 33 points to lead Golden State’s entry to the league’s inaugural title.

Ten of the 12 teams with Lottery picks from the 2014 NBA Draft are scheduled to compete in the 2014 NBA Summer League, including Utah. Notable is that seven of the last nine NBA Rookie of the Year Award winners having taken part in action in Las Vegas.

The other participating teams in NBA Summer League 2014 are: Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Golden State, Houston, L.A. Clippers, L.A. Lakers, Miami, Milwaukee, Minnesota, New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Sacramento, San Antonio, Toronto, Washington and the NBA D-League Select team.

Tickets for the NBA Summer League are now on sale. Fans can purchase tickets to the NBA Summer League by visiting NBATickets.com, a comprehensive online ticketing destination for NBA fans or by calling (702) 739-FANS.

Every coach in the league should refuse to shake Kidd's hand (if he even coaches summer league). What he did to Drew was inexcusable.
It will be fun watching Giannis and Jabari, though. Perhaps the early favorites to win summer league?

This much is sure, Kidd is a ****ing piece of ****.

Jazz are going to kick some butt. Jazz will have Trey, Hood, Dante and Gobert. I hope Dante dominates Philly so I can read all the fans bitch about not drafting him.

Kidd has always been an @$$, I always laugh when the announcers talk about how respected he is. Some people were blaming DW for this, but Kidd makes DW look like an angel. I think Kidd put himself in the shame HOF. 66 percent of Buck fans don't want him to be the coach. It could get real ugly in Milwaukee, he they continue to lose and he will never get another NBA job.

****, son, this absolutely has NOTHING to do with Williams. This is all Kidd. If I were a Bucks fan, I would be completely upset as well.

Yep. Kidd's team went into damage control mode trying to place blame elsewhere. Kidd wanted player personnel control and Prokhorov laughed at him. Stan Van Gundy, Phil Jackson, Greg Popovich: those guys have earned the right to demand certain players. Jason Kidd, one season of coaching, barely a .500 record? Input considered, but maybe he should concentrate more on coaching.

Well stated. Kidd's illusions of grandeur are mountainesque.

Jerry Sloan often talked about respecting the league. Too bad that some consider any action to be fair by claiming " it's business".

And mega thanks for posting a schedule.

I've already had my fill of free agency for the summer. So how about looking at some of these summer league games and potential match ups.

Jazz vs 76ers, July 12 at 8:30 pm
Trey Burke and Dante Exum going against reigning ROY MCW.
Rudy Gobert battling Nerlens Noel in Noel's NBA debut.

Jazz vs Bucks, July 14 at 8:30 pm
Sorry for Jabari takes on new meaning after the Jason Kidd debacle in Milawaukee. But a line up featuring The 6'-8" Jabarri at pf and the 6'-11" Gianiss antenktempo at sf looks freaking awesome on paper, can't wait to see if it works on the court. Will college teammates Hood and Jabari get matched up against each other? Bucks also have pg Nate Wolter, and a 7 ft Serbian Miroslav Raduljica.

Jazz vs Nuggets, July 15 at 6:30 pm
Nuggets gave up Doug McDermott for the 16 and 19 picks in the draft. McDermott might rule summer league more than any rookie not named Jabarri, so I will be a little sad that he won't be playing here. But Croatian big man Jusuf Nurkic and Michagan State shooter Gary Harris will be great match ups for Gobert and Trey/Exum. Assuming Denver and Jusuf work their way out of this mess:https://www.sportando.com/en/usa/nb...-for-bosnian-nt-despite-nuggets-proposal.html

I just listened to Randy Rigbey earlier to and he announced a free open scrimmage on July 10th at Energy Solutions. Doors open at 6:00. What a nice way to usher in Summer league. Really looking forward to next week!

I like this. It's akin to the saying, "No one is bigger than the game."
