Jazz Announces Broadcast Schedule for Summer League

After the 3 preliminary games being aired on KJZZ the tournament games will be aired on NBATV. I haven't heard any thing stating that the first 3 games will be aired on NBATV.

The first post makes it sound like every summer league game, preliminary or not, will be on NBATV

NBA TV will be televising all 67 NBA Summer League games from Las Vegas, including 38 games live during the event, and every game will also be available live at NBA.com/summerleague and on the NBA Summer League app via a subscription-based package.

But yeah, to confirm it I looked at their webpage and on Saturday at 830 pm mountain time the Jazz will be playing the 6ers (and the NBATv schedule mirrors the KJAZZ schedule in time, so I'm guessing it's live there too). Usually I don't give a **** about summer league though I still watch the games, and I guess I still kind of don't really, but I'm probably looking forward to this one more than any since Deron and the RMR were around.

Glad we aren't playing in Orlando with the single cam placed at floor level making everything look super weird.

I'm tempted to drive down to watch Exum, and make Box make me sangria.

Anyone know if we can buy assigned seating, or is it like the Jazz' ****fest where they open the other door a half hour before the main line? /rant #Millersareretards

I've already had my fill of free agency for the summer. So how about looking at some of these summer league games and potential match ups.

Jazz vs 76ers, July 12 at 8:30 pm
Trey Burke and Dante Exum going against reigning ROY MCW.
Rudy Gobert battling Nerlens Noel in Noel's NBA debut.

Jazz vs Bucks, July 14 at 8:30 pm
Sorry for Jabari takes on new meaning after the Jason Kidd debacle in Milawaukee. But a line up featuring The 6'-8" Jabarri at pf and the 6'-11" Gianiss antenktempo at sf looks freaking awesome on paper, can't wait to see if it works on the court. Will college teammates Hood and Jabari get matched up against each other? Bucks also have pg Nate Wolter, and a 7 ft Serbian Miroslav Raduljica.

Jazz vs Nuggets, July 15 at 6:30 pm
Nuggets gave up Doug McDermott for the 16 and 19 picks in the draft. McDermott might rule summer league more than any rookie not named Jabarri, so I will be a little sad that he won't be playing here. But Croatian big man Jusuf Nurkic and Michagan State shooter Gary Harris will be great match ups for Gobert and Trey/Exum. Assuming Denver and Jusuf work their way out of this mess:https://www.sportando.com/en/usa/nb...-for-bosnian-nt-despite-nuggets-proposal.html

Was going to post something similar about matchups, but this summarizes it pretty well.
Just imagine if Philly had actually drafted a couple of guys who could play this season: MCW, Exum, Noel and McDermott? There's a (summer league) championship team right there!

And the fact that they play in a place where nobody can come in and watch is super weird too. Rocky Mountain Revue was awesome because even the games that nobody really gave a crap, there would always be hecklers just hanging out at SLCC looking for somebody to pick on during the off games. A local high school gym would beat the Magic practice facility.

Only good thing about the Orlando one is that it's earlier....and I'm not even sure that's a good thing for the team. For us impatient fans probably.

You can if you want to pay up for VIP/courtside. I think it's all general admission otherwise. Should be interesting to see the crowds that show up for Wiggins/Parker.
