Caught the game late. Loved Gobert at the end swinging his gorilla dick around on defense. Love when he plays like that.
He does that to everyone thoughI always wonder about that too.
I don't know what to think about it

Accumulating hits to the head can lead to things like concussions, which lead to shortened careers, CTE and other cognitive disorders. Arm injuries are more short term than a ****ing brain injury. The hit did no more harm to Rudy's head than it would have to his arm (other than losing a contact.)
Do you agree?
If so, then yeah, some hits to the head are the same as a hit to the arm. Obviously not all. The one to Rudy's wasn't bad.
It was his inner forearm. Watch at 4:17.

these calls are made to reduce hits to the head, and reduce harm to its players for the overall product for fans and protecting ones business.
That angle doesn't really show it. If that's all I saw I would agree. Watching other angles from the replays on the Jazz feed it did look like it was the elbow. Probably why he has the big goose egg. Inner forearm likely wouldn't do that.
Probably more to do with being long time basketball fans, and jazz fans in particular for several years. If you watched the Malone Stockton era these new "fouls" are extremely soft by comparison. While I agree any blow to the head of neck should be a flagrant, especially with new science regarding concussion and their after effects, some fouls are ridiculous. I'd rather see a little more flow to the game and a lot less touch fouls being called. These are well conditioned professional athletes, they can play through some very minor contact. The inner circle posters here seem to really hate the Jazz getting any calls or avoiding career ending injuries. Paid propaganda , secret hate for the team, or just low IQ? Hard to tell.

No harm, no (flagrant) foul? And there are also hits to the head that do absolutely nothing to long term health, like the one to Rudy's last night.
Your guy's argument are based off of what ifs, maybes, potential, etc. I get it. However, there are still hits to the head that do absolutely nothing and you guys wanna make it into something.
Rudy's head is fine.
I mean, by definition every foul should be flagrant, right? No harm, no (flagrant) foul?
How so?I mean, by definition every foul should be flagrant, right?
Hey, that's knot an injury. K?Dude has a ****ing knot on his head. That doesn't just magically happen without a forceful blow lol.
Nah, you misunderstanding. I also think it's a weak flagrant. But a flagrant nonetheless. I think a tap on the forearm while a player is shooting is weak foul yet still a foul. I think some travels are weak travels yet still travels. I think some goal tends are weak goaltends yet still goaltends. I think some charges are weak charges yet still charges. I don't think the dude tried to hurt Rudy but he certainly hit him with a hard shot to the head (see that tweet video of Rudy's head, that's wasn't a grazing or anything) and due to the rules deserved a flagrant.Rudy got the call. I was happy he got the call. It was upgraded to a flagrant 1 and I said it was a weak flagrant foul. If that makes me have low IQ then ok, guy. I'm just capable of not putting every hit to the head in the NBA as an absolute flagrant. That's weak to me.
The defender made a play on the ball and accidentally hit Rudy's head with his arm. Basketball is a physical sport and stuff like that happens. It was a foul.
You guy's are acting like he got Karl Malone'd. Rudy got a goose egg, but he'll be alright.
Harpring thought it was a weak call and so did the Bull's announcers. Low IQ though, right? I mean, if someone has a different opinion they must be stupid.
Y'all are soft.
