What's new

Jazz at Celts: 3/28/12--5:30PM MT

Garnett has mastered the art of the cheap shot and getting into player's heads. He knows where the refs eyes are, and he only does stuff they can't see. Hate the guy, but his methods are effective.

He's pretty much the Vanilla Ice of the NBA. I don't think he could hang in a fight versus your run of the mill shooting guard. I also think that Brittany Griner chick could take him.

That is exactly why he is so effective. He understands being able to fight doesn't matter. He just has to get you in the mindset that you want to fight him. Like I said, I hate it, but it works.

I haven't followed the game thread so it's probably been said many times over but Garrnet is the biggest jerk face on the planet. If I was a boston fan I would be screaming for a trade. What a joke. I am so sick of him getting away with all the crap. I remember a cheep shot he put in on Frye in a game in phx. Frye was hitting 3s in KG's face and finally KG tapped Frye in the boys and then pulled one of his "oh I got fouled acts. What a piece of work. Big Al should have laid that cheep shot out.

Until another player takes matters into their own hands KG will keep doing what he's doing. Until then...whatever...just KG being KG. Good experience for Hayward and Burks, liked the aggressiveness they showed. Favors with a few more "everything but" plays, but he showed more he has the physical tools to go 1-on-1 against elite length inside, just needs to finish. If Tinsley runs the offense and we don't go through that drought in the 2nd-qtr maybe it's a little different game and we're not climbing out of an 18-point hole. Jazz need to regroup and strap it up Friday night aginst another team that will get physical with us if we let them.

There's a fine line between playing nasty and being an *******.

Which is why he has rings and we have black eyes with Big Al cryin with his tail tucked between his legs.

No "soft" team or player has ever won this trophy.

Until we start playing more like KG, we ain't gonna be winning any trophy soon.

If we had a lead and Favors was doing the exact same stuff to Boston, you'd all be loving it.

KG exposed us for what we are... Too soft inside. He kicked our asses. He played physical, he played smart, he got inside our heads, and dominated us the way most HOF big men do.

Our bigs are killer in games of HORSE.

KG, despite losing a lot of his skills and jumping ability, still knows how to play the game, intimidate, and get into heads. He's not soft.

We are.

If Favors threw an elbow into Pierces face after knocking the ball away I would go off about unnessecasry dirty ****. As mentioned there is hard play and banging a guy up and being a **** sucker like Garnett.

"Rings"?

You mean one ring, when he was traded onto a team with two all-stars, after realizing that he could never lead a team to one himself?

And please tell me: Who from the Spurs is even a quarter as bad as Garnett.

KG is the league's biggest bully, and tonight he faced off with a team that allows themselves to be bullied fairly often.

KG is a prick, but the Jazz allowed it to happen.

I felt like a little more burks and a little less miles + alot more tinsley and no watson would have been the ingredients for a victory tonight.
But corbin learned from sloan: no matter who is playing good or bad just keep with your rotations and everything will be alright

All I know is that if I were Tinsley I would be both pissed and wonder WTF I had to do to get time. Because from my POV Watson should not be playing over Tinsley

Actually Sloan was the complete opposite of what you described but nevertheless - I agree Tinsley should be coming off the bench in relief of Watson.

Just bitch about it.

It worked wonderfully for Raja and Earl.

It's pretty obvious that Corbin caves to his players' demands.

Rats. It looked like they were going to take it , but the Celtics held them off. Shake it off, let's get the next one.

Not that Watson is the reason for the loss, but the fact he's getting minutes over Tinsely is just perplexing at this point. I don't get it at all.

The Jazz bench played pretty awful for the most part (other than Burks really, and even he wasn't as good as I'd like him to be) and that's why they lost. They were back in the game and they threw it away, and the starters weren't all that awesome either and couldn't pull them back.

Yeah, but you have to think with Tinsley in the bench is more guided, therefore they would have done better with Jamall.

There were a handful of possessions that Earl completely mismanaged.
