A larger sample size of Hayward's bedwetting performances against the best teams in the West over the last 3 seasons:
Vs Golden State and San Antonio (16-games): 77-222 34.7% FG, 14-59 23.7% 3PT%, 4.5 rpg, 3.0 apg, 14.6 ppg
This includes 3 out of the last 8 matchups where Hayward scored less than 10 pts on 5-30 16.7% FG and 0-11 from 3PT.
vs. the rest of the league: 44.7% FG, 36.3% 3PT, 5.1 rpg, 4.0 apg, 20.3 ppg.
All I'm saying is if Hayward can't get over his "stagefright" of the Spurs and Warriors, the Jazz will have basically no playoff success. We're never going deep into the playoffs if our best player goes MIA every time we face the Spurs or Warriors.

Me too, I'm not saying Hayward is bad, all I'm saying is this is his next step to take in his development.

Not expecting "God-like" numbers, but certainly better than ****ing 6 points on 2-10 shooting. If you're a legit all-star caliber player, you better be able to produce more than that, no matter how defenses are playing you. Hayward could have forced the action and got to the free throw line more. It's not like GS was throwing quadruple teams on Hayward either, he just flat out played like garbage. Also, this isn't a one time occurence that you could chalk up as an anomaly, there's a consistent pattern of Hayward playing his absolute worst against the best teams.
My apologies, it is insensitive to anyone to be compared with Cy. I intended nothing negative towards cross-dressers, but I see how it could be read that way. Mea culpa.
