Jazz At Knicks - 3/9/13 - 5:30 PM MST

Looks like the Jazz have given up. Good. Maybe they'll lose the vast majority of their upcoming games and fan outrage forces the management to get an actual head coach.

Kanter has been THE BEST player on the team for last 5 or so games, now millsap is out, so corbin plays kanter less than just about every player on the team..... Way to reward the young guy for his great play.

Also, if corbin is forced to go small against the knicks, that does not mean he has to play marvin..... he could play evans at the 4, or even go with a lineup utilizing carroll, hayward, burks, mo, and favors/kanter/jeffy.

Favors is -23 at the break, Jefferson is -21. They played a combined 34 minutes. Kanter had a team high +/- of +4, he played a team low 7 minutes.

Ty Corbin, ladies and gentlemen. #Applause

One of the most disappointing thing for us is being sure we do not have either an offensive game plan or defensive strategy against their line up change. Have you ever seen Corbin dictated his game plan over opponent's one? Their bigs are dinasours of Kenyon Martin, Marcus Camby and Chandler and yet we can not use our advantage of athletism? Use Favors' quickness on PnR, use Kanter's shooting on PnP. Let Burks operate in the paint to go to FT. Also i do not get why we do not risk Kidd's shots on PnR instead showing up for him and let Chandler or Martin score easily under the rim? Just sad and pathetic

Am I the only one who thinks that if the Knicks are going to play Novak at the 4, which is a difficult cover for Jefferson, Favors & Kanter, it's an easy decision to put someone like Jeremy Evans in the game? Defensive match-ups really aren't that difficult when you put your players in a position to use their strengths.

Your post has quite a few nice things to try..... instead the jazz offense is one pass, then that player looks around as guys run around screens for 10 seconds, then pass back to pg and throw in to al.

Its so annoying watching all these jazz players run through screens and make cuts and whatnot, with nothing every coming from any of it..... lets try some pick and rolls and iso's or something.

I would love to see jeremy evans in this game......and every game basically.

Mo,Marvin,Tinsley go on sucking again and again. It makes the opponent defend even easier. They so static and do not know how to move off the ball and can not shoot. So they risk oour shooting so we can not make any room to play inside for the bigs. Our spacing is one of the worst in the whole league and this is really killing us.

Could have been:

Bledsoe
Hayward
Granger
Kanter
Favors

What we actually are:

Fatterson
Shorty Sap
Mar-will-les
Chucky Foye
Mo 'the mentally retarded'
