What's new

Jazz at Nuggets: 2/27/15 7 PM MT

Rudy gets from the 3-pt line to the finger roll at the rim with 1 dribble.

Nuts.
And a nice spin move. He just needs to learn not to hook. There was one other offensive foul he got called for that left me puzzled. Didn't seem like he used his off arm at all.

I never thought Will Barton would make it in the NBA. The dude is balling out in his limited games for the Nuggets though.

The moth****er is just so damn skinny. Look at his HS recruiting page on ESPN, he was listed as 170 lbs. On his ESPN player page for this year he is listed as 175 pounds.

I like the way Cotton looks. I think he can be a backup PG in the league. He can be very dangerous once he get comfortable and starts shooting.

I really doubt Neto is going to come to the NBA in a Jazz uniform. We have two lottery pick PG's on the team. Neto is just going to stay in Europe and do what he does.

I think Neto only comes over if Burke or Exum is traded. I don't see the Jazz having Burke, Exum AND Neto. We need a vet PG. Desperately.

Not sure why DL would have moved up to get him if there wasn't a lot of interest. But then again, Ty was running a different system than Quin. I still think the big summer move - if Lindsey makes one - will be to package Trey for a veteran.

We also hadn't drafted Dante Exum yet....

I know I'll take flak for this, but I'm disappointed in the way jazzfanz treats the female refs.

That being said, I don't want this thread to devolve into another argument like the one a couple games ago. It's just frustrating to see obvious sexism at play. Jokes are about how the female refs are ugly or that the game isn't for them--comments you really wouldn't see if they were men. This isn't the first time I've seen similar comments crop up. I'm not saying anyone is a terrible person. I'm not trying to be a "SJW." I just hope I can make others aware of the double standard.

I agree that the delay of game call was whacked--but weird delay of games happen all the time. I hardly see an "obvious" delay of game call. It's just a warning and it had no impact on the game.

As far as the game, that was really fun. Gobert was beasting. Favors looked like he read the thread about him lacking a motor. Hood looked like a very complete player. I'm excited to see how these guys finish the season.

I'm glad that Hood looked good. One of the most important things for next year will be getting a high quality bench and developing the guys who are already on it. Booker, Hood (when healthy) and Burke can all be key contributors next year. Add more talent to that group and the Jazz will look great.
