What's new

Jazz at Nuggets 2:30 mst

Look up the R word in the dictionary. He's using it correctly. It is you who is associating it with something else and then getting offended by it.

Interesting.

King Cy, if you intended "retarded" in the general sense of slowed in progress, I apologize for the callout, bud.

Like easily the biggest thing I want from the Jazz next year is actually attempting to get out in transition and score. We don't even try anymore because we are so focused on playing slow.

And when they try to get a fast break bucket it seems like they blow it as often as not. I'd like to see some stats on that.

When he gets hot from 3, then his whole game opens up. Once the defense commits to closing out hard on him, then he finds a way to hurt them on the dribble drive. It's great.

Yup. He hits a few threes, guys overcommit on the close out, and he slides around them, snake like.

How bad was our bench? Their starters have 24 points to our starters 42. Our bench has chipped in 6 points to their bench's 23.

That's pretty terrible, but I expect burks and ingles to make their shots in the second half

I think some of it may be that, I think a lot of it is Hood. Hood is just a slow player. Hayward is slow too, but he has proven in past years he can play in transition and either force fouls or finish at hte rim. Hood hasn't proven either. Hopefully Exum coming back will give us some speed to offset the slowness of playing Hood at the 2.

Absolutely no reason Hood can't play the same fast-break role as Korver in ATL. He's not a guy you send to the rim on a break. But you send him on the break nevertheless.

Rudy coming alive after dribbling the ball off his leg and getting pulled at the start of the Q. Why did Snyder pull him for sixty seconds I wonder.
