Rubio says shhhhhh

Rubio has had good games the last 4 out of 5 and the Hawks game no one showed up....... can we start to believe this is a trend and he may be getting more comfortable? Aside from the game winning shot, he had a good overall game, and Rubio can run an offense very well. He has some costly turn overs but has been cutting down on them. I'm not there yet, but if Rubio strings off a few more good games straight I'll start coming around on the guy. Great bounce back by Donovan as well, good to see his shots, especially 3's, going down again. It's also so obvious how much Donovan pulls for Rubio and likes him.

I couldn't quite decipher Rubio's reaction after he drained the winning shot and looked at Mitchell. I interpreted it as "why the **** did you pass it to me?"
Anyways, this win is at least over a quality opponent with DM back on track. Hopefully Lindsey can find another gem around 12 or 13.

Lol, I like your thoughts on Rickys facial expression.

I know, part of me is happy and sad we won the game. Wins like this hurt our draft pick. I was just fine with a good, fun game to watch like tonight and ending in a loss. But the team needs some great wins like tonight, Rudy and Donovan need some wins like tonight, and this is a great win that will help moral. The fact this team can have a game and win like tonight is amazing simply because of all the trade talk, hard losses, and bad games at times. They've got some good character and a good locker room. Still gotta change some things, and I'm still hoping for a top 8 draft pic, but either way the Jazz will find their ways back to winning within a season or two and things will feel good again.

Gobert with 18 Pts 15 Boards and 2 Blocks.

Rubio with the game-winner and an Assasin's stare afterward.

Mitchell calmly playing big in clutch situations.

Good win and a NEEDED win for this team. I know some on this board are openly hoping for a tank. I get that, but I am glad the players still lay it all on the floor. They deserve the win.
Its definitely a test of character win, with all the noise, its nice to know these guys are still together, have a strong will, and are mentally tough.

Well I’ll be damned

I am torn on Rubio. I love his heart and his hustle, and it is clear that his teammates love him (or at least I see it that way.) His shot needs to be more consistent. Lowry literally baited Rubio to beat them - I'm glad he did, but I think he will have to do it more often to overcome his reputation around the league.

This shot will boost Rubio's self-confidence!

This team plays better without Hood?

When Hood chucks up shots and bricks them on consistent nights, it screws our offense up, we get in too big of a hole... Lose and then Hood gets hurt. This repeats over and over again in our losses.

We play like *** on the road vs. everyone all year...but we get wins on the road vs. Boston and Toronto? Crazy...

With all Hoods issues he still shooting almost 40% from 3 which is actually pretty good. Hes hot and cold but Hoods point of being out there and what is asked of him is to shoot those shots you are complaining about and he is one of the best 3 point shooters on the team. I get the frustration with Hood but to act like hes a big problem on this team is just ridiculous.

With this damn contusion though he better be back against GS with 3 more days rest. I do think Hood is soft.
