So the Lakers go big but it's more important for Corbin to get Jefferson and Marvin back in the game instead of Favors. Brilliant. This is a lineup that should have Favors and Kanter on the floor together with Marvin at the 3 and Jefferson at home. But Corbin still doesn't do it. Jefferson leading the team in minutes again. All while playing ****ty defense and not contributing on offense. You tank fans should be happy with that. But as a fan that wants to see the team developed I'm annoyed as hell.

pretty sure they are show casing jeff to the league.

I see no reason those goals cannot be simultaneously accomplished.

Neither do I. But instead what I'm seeing is the development being ignored (for a 3rd straight year) in favor of a vet who does not want to be here next year and is being outplayed by his backup.

But gotta give Jefferson his 40 minutes. At the half he's on pace for 42.

That is the excuse everybody used for the minutes the vets got last season up until the trade deadline passed and the vets continued to play.

Hayward, Favors, Burke and Burks are all getting good time. Kanter and Gobert are getting shafted.

Yup 8 first half minutes for burks and 21 minutes for jeffy.... all is well.

Yep..... gvc had me convinced that corbin played kanter so much against the clippers due to matchups (favors/kanter against Jordan/griffin due to clippers size)
Yet here we are going against two 7footers at the same time and kanter favors cant get minutes together.

I guess GVC was wrong on that one and it was just because of favors foul trouble like I thought.

Well in this game Burks has 8 minutes and Favors has 12. Against a team that went big against us playing Gasol at PF and that other dude at C. But Jeffy gets his 21. Kanter played well and deserved the minutes but he still had to come out when Favors came in. I don't know why he could not come in for Jefferson and play Marvin at the 3. We have a lot of quality bigs and 2 quality SG/SF's but Marvin must play PF according to Corbin. Even though he could play SF especially against a team going big like the Lakers are. Corbin's rotations have always baffled me. For some reason in this game it's been worse than before.

I was going to say something like this. With Gasol and Sacre starting this would be one of those times that Kanter and Favors should be on the floor a lot together. I would have started Kanter if the Lakers are going big like this

He is averaging 27+ minutes a game. What do you feel he should get? Personally I'd give him about 3 more and I'd give Harris RJeffs minutes but I don't see Burks overall time as the problem. It's more about when he gets that time.
 
I was looking forward to this season for the development potential. Now I dread watching ****ing Jefferson in the game and the retarded rotations every time I watch. I don't want Corbin to last the season. I wish he was already gone. He might be a good coach for a vet laden team that's just trying to win games and doesn't need to develop players. But for this roster for the last 3 years he is just not the guy for the job.
