I love Gobert, but lets be realistic about what he can or can't do. He benefited last year from jazz 3-pt shooting and the resulting space--he complimented that group very well. Here is a tight game, lets see if the jazz go to Gobert when they need a bucket...

I disagree, Gobert was a top 15 player last year. Maybe top 10 the second half of the season. Defense is half the game. Rebounding is a large chunk of the game and he has made our offense function last year with the amount of attention he demanded. He spread the court with sucking multiple players in on the pick and roll.

Yes this game has been rough.

Just because Gobert cant play iso on offense to get you a bucket doesnt mean he isnt good. Does every player who can go iso make you a star? No, not even close. That is just one aspect of the game. JJ is great at that right now.
