Jazz Dropped The Ball on JHS

There is that magic moment when a team feels you aren't a prospect any more. The Lakers pulled the plug way early. I wondered about waiving him and last year Kevin Knox II. Young players that might develop.

I think the Jazz needed the roster spot to keep swapping players and accruing picks? If not then I completely agree with you.
Svi could have been easily waived. I don't really care but if the Jazz want a redo I am going to bet he will be available this summer still. Maybe not if he strings another 5-10 good games together.

He's apparently only signed to a 2 way for the remainder of the season and the Sixers have tax apron issues. Jazz could potentially sign him in the offseason if they really want. I'm a little wary of guys putting up numbers on a tanking team at the end of the season.

I did like him ahead of the '23 draft although the Jazz obviously preferred Keyonte over him. If they target anyone from that team it should probably be Grimes.

The Lakers also gave up on him.

As a JHS stan out of the draft, I'll wait for him to start showing a bit of PG skills. Right now he's at 5 assists in 74 minutes. He has the size of a SG, to be fair, but part of the appeal was that he was a PG.
