Firing the guy who got trades done to draft Mitchell and Gobert, hired Snyder, and found Ingles and Royce in Europe would be the single dumbest move possible.
People can critique him all they want, but the idea that he's been conservative is absurdThat has been my position... you say "I don't think we should draft a center when there are good wing/guard prospects on the board" or "hey maybe we shouldn't sell all these second round picks" or "maybe we should utilize some of our cap space instead of maintaining flexiblity" and Jazzfanz be like "oh youuuuu know so much better than DL huh? you so dumb.. he darfted the effs out of DM and Rudy".
He's done some good and bad and is not above criticism. He's a good leader and well-spoken. Will never embarrass us and has really helped set the culture. He's been a little too conservative and he's passed up some opportunities imo. I don't think he sucks, but these mistakes may keep us as a second round type playoff team unless he hits a home run or two in the next couple years.

He's had 10 to 1 hits to misses. And the **** we comsider a miss is still tbd.I don't think he needs to or should be fired... he does need to close a few more winning deals... he's had these huge/good hits, but he's had some misses... every GM has. I have faith in him, but he's not left himself a lot of margin for error now.
This offseason is beyond critical... so we can issue indictments after we see what he gets done.

I just want to let you all know how happy it makes me that the Utah Jazz’s season is over and that it was my team that ended it. After all the racism that players endure in that arena, I love the fact that it will be closed down for the summer for NBA purposes. You don’t have a good draft pick, so your team doesn’t really have a future, especially with super teams forming this summer. You’re essentially stuck in mediocrity. Life is amazing for rockets fans. Bye bye, go have fun fishing little children!PS - Houston ownz u

For the record I’ve been a big DL supporter on here for the last several seasons. But he has to produce now.
Playoffs 3 straight years.
Advanced to the second round 2 out of 3 times with only 1 all star during that time.
Yep. He doesn't produce at all. He just sits there and eats *** all day.
So being conservative in one instance is being labeled conservative?I'm fairly sure he'd say he has been conservative, but whatevs. Conservative isn't a bad thing. He has said multiple times he's keeping the powder dry, he had opportunities to make a move but passed... that is saving or conserving.
Our roster turnover is pretty low compared to other teams... which is fine. Patience is good in many/most cases. There is such a thing as being patient to a fault.
Disagree all you want but absurd is a pretty strong word to use there.

The dude was talking about Kevin Love and Jabari. Not taking those dudes isn't being conservative, it's called being smart
I really don't understand the continuity complaint. You don't know who he was talking about... in the interview it wasn't even clear he was talking about this year.
There have been many times he has been conservative. I'm not saying smart/dumb or otherwise... conservative isn't a dig and many times it's a complement. He clearly favors continuity and patience... which are things I would consider conservative. I'm not saying he sits on his hands or that he is content but I think he's played it fairly safe at times. I think his riskiest move was waiting on Hayward's FA rather than moving him the year before his FA. I agreed with it but we burned some assets for win now moves to appease him in hopes of keeping him. It was risky, but I also don't know what we really could have got for him.

Did we ever get a reason for why Snyder wasn't at the exit interviews?
Ricky sounds like he’s out. Think the rumors really bothered him... ****ing Memphis.
He was destroying evidence from his murder of the hooker the night before.Did we ever get a reason for why Snyder wasn't at the exit interviews?
For a point guard who can shoot free throws so well and who's been a pro since he was 14 or so and had the best coaches in the world for a dozen years, he's a ****ing embarrassment from outside and I couldn't care less if the rumors bothered him.
