Draft a 12 man team full of only jazz players, build your team the way you want. May the best team win. We did this like 6-7 years ago, why do it again, well there really isn't much going on right now jazz wise so I figure why not. You are drafting them for their talent from their jazz career nothing else. With current players you are only drafting them for what they've done so far in their careers. I hope this will bring on interesting discussions on past and present players.

All-time jazz roster list: https://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/UTA/players.html

8 teams, 12 rounds = 96 picks total. 24 hours per pick. If you don't make it in time you will be skipped.

3 rounds of public polls will decide the winner. For each matchup you can post the style of play you will use and how you will defend your opponent.

When you make a pick post a picture and give reasoning behind the pick. If you want to update the draft board that would be helpful.

We all have lives outside of this but if you can't visit the forum at least once a day I wouldn't recommend joining.

Draft order will be determined by a random number generator.

This was my team last year.

I'll do the all-time fantasy draft and current NBA fantasy draft; gonna have to pass on this one though.

I also think it's better to do these things after the Finals and draft are finished--ya know, when real NBA activity is essentially over for the season.

Pretty much this.

I have little interest in these playoffs, doesn't matter to me as a jazz fan

4 spots left

I can't remember who won it the last time I did those or what the rosters were. It's been so long that the thread is probably not in the system.

Ideas:

(1) Might be interesting and clearer if we both draft a player and also specify a year in their career. This would allow one to say "2004 Raja Bell" and excluding washed-up and disgruntled 2011 Raja Bell. Or specify a "2012 Paul Millsap," allowing us to ignore his developmental years in the contest.

(2) Allow for trade of picks pre-draft and players post-draft.

His developmental years wouldn't count in this case. They were on the Hawks.

If room, I'll bite.

I feel like though whomever gets #1 pick and drafts The Mailman and a decent PG in the 2nd round almost automatically wins.

Ya. Last year I got the two Malone's and Ricky Green. Felt it was over after that. Not even the drafting of Ostertag and R Jefferson into my starting lineup could stop me. Lol.

You did a good job on that team. Don't remember how voting went for u but was probably underrated.

Thanks. Lost to White Chocolate by 1 vote because Dala got there too late.

No thanks : You voted against me dude. :D
